Affordable and Delicious
These are fresh and delicious. I’ve purchased more expensive brands of sardines in the past, but honestly, these are just as good. I’m going to stick with these sardines while the price stays reasonable. It’s good hot, cold, or room temperature. It’s great on rice or on a salad. It’s an easy snack or a lovely dinner component. I seriously could eat these every day.

Not a pack of 12
It’s a great product, but I’ve tried twice now to order it in quantity, and both timesI’ve gotten single tins rather than packages of 12. It’s either false advertisement or poor warehouse instructions. Frustrating.

They are very great,
Can’t eat 1, so moist and chewy, the best sardines ever

Small and crumbling
The fish are in pieces. Not quite like tuna but not far from it. No smoke flavor and in bad need of salt. They are great if you plan to incorporate them into some kind of recipe but definitely not unseasoned or plain on crackers

Twice the price of Crown Prince
Mustard review:StarKist’s boneless fillets in extra virgin olive oil are enjoyable in my lunch salads but the price is nearly twice that of Crown Prince Natural One Layer Brisling Sardines - Mediterranean Style ($4.22 vs. $2.30). StarKist Gourmet Selects Sardines, Skinless Boneless in Whole Grain Dijon Mustard are even more expensive ($4.98 vs. $2.30) and are not available by the case with Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program, which limits my interest. At nearly $5 for a tin of sardines, I have many other healthy lunch options for less money. The weak mustard sauce is the biggest disappointment of StarKist Gourmet Selects Sardines, Skinless Boneless in Whole Grain Dijon Mustard . The sauce is mustard-colored and there are visible mustard seeds floating in the sauce but the taste does not evoke the bite of Dijon mustard. I won’t buy this flavor again.Rating: Two starsExtra-virgin olive oil review:Less smoky than other brands I’ve tried, StarKist’s boneless fillets are enjoyable in my lunch salads. However, the price isn’t competitive. I paid $4.22 for a tin as an add-on item last time, about twice the price I paid for a tin of Crown Prince Natural One Layer Brisling Sardines - Mediterranean Style . StarKist Gourmet Selects Sardines, Skinless Boneless in Extra Virgin Olive Oil are not available by the case with Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program, which limits my interest. At a $4 price point, a tin of sardines doesn’t compete well with other healthy lunch options.I pack a salad to work in a 7-cup Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Food Storage Container . Here’s my lunch recipe:• Four cups of Fresh Express Veggie Lover's salad mix (iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, radish, carrot and pea pods. When I don’t have the salad mix handy, I chop up romaine lettuce and add more cabbage instead of the iceberg lettuce.• 2 tbsp of Angelo Pietro Sesame & Miso Dressing • 1 medium tomato chopped or 10-12 cherry tomatoes• 1/2 cup pickled beets chopped or cubed• 1 tin of sardines, emptied over the other salad ingredients (oil and all)Rating: Two stars

The most delicious
The flavor is the main thing and the amount of oil is just right as well; nothing icky about them, unlike some others. I've tried a lot of sardines over the years and these are definitely the best.
