Great idea, works for us!
We've gotten tired of wrestling with non-fitted sheets on our California king waterbed for several years and recently replaced the waterbed mattress with a California king coil spring, reversible mattress from The Original Mattress Factory. This model (Orthopedic adjustable) fits quite tightly in the waterbed frame making it a major challenge to lift out and make/adjust the sheets. We purchased sheets from Amazon (ASIN# B06X6MBV92) that we like and used these SheetLock fasteners combined with Original Sheet Suspenders (B0014AMBWK) and Bend Band grippers (B004I3VDWY), also from Amazon. While the fitted sheet would have been a rather loose fit on our 10-1/2 inch tall mattress, these SheetLock contraptions grasped the sheet tightly enough to impress us even after trying to tug them loose. SheetLock included an extra set of push-in tabs that have a silicon coating on the neck portions and they worked 100% better than the standard set they include. This is true for those sheets WE purchased (see above). If you have thicker sheet material, however, the standard ones may work just fine for you. They included 5 of the standard ones but only 4 of the siliconed ones in the package. Of note, since our mattress is surrounded on all four sides with the full height waterbed wood frame, there is actually some pressure put INWARD on the push-in tab and lock mechanisms that are responsible for holding the sheet in place. I presume this ADDS to the holding power of the mechanism. Most of the questions I've seen posted here can be answered by carefully studying the pictures and item details already posted by the seller. We installed ours on the sides (L to R = 6 feet) and not top to bottom (= 7 feet). The elastic bands are plenty wide (3 inches?) and, while I wish they had a bit more tension, I suspect too much more might start to leave impression strips on our Cal king mattress. Since these are a one-size-fits-all, I do wonder if they would hold tightly enough on, say, a twin size mattress. Since our mattress has no pillow-top portion and no memory foam, it's a rather solid, firm surface and I was impressed that the sheet is held in place very well by these SheetLock fasteners along with the two other gripping products. I just don't think one single product could hold the sheet as tightly on all four sides.

Replaced L-shaped fasteners with these
I have used ClickL shaped fasteners for a couple of years. These are a similar concept but are L brackets that slide under the bed, using the same button fastener to hold the sheets. On my old Ikea bed where the mattress fit down about about an inch into the platform, these worked great. However, I recently purchased a new platform bed where the mattress is flush with the platform. To my dismay these brackets no longer stayed in place.I tried the corner elastic fasteners with no success.I found these straps and seeing the same button attachment thought I would try them. Glad I did.. They hold about as good as the brackets... not completely tight but well enough. After a couple of days I may re-fasten the sheet a bit tighter as I think the sheet stretches a bit, but thats OK. It still works for me.I found they were pretty easy to install myself. So far, so good!

WILL RUIN YOUR MEMORY FOAM MATRESS.
October 1st update. Okay, I have given an update or two on these. None of them good. I put these on my memory foam mattress May 31st. Since then I have fought with th3se things to keep the buttons on both silicone and without. Three days ago finally gave up. I took them off and they left indented areas athe the edges of the bed where the straps were. Figured the foam would pop up after a day or two. Nope. These straps left permanent indentations on my brand new bed. My mattress was in my home only days before I put these things on.Have had these on the bed for ONE NIGHT, and buttons have popped off THREE TIMES. the minute you try to get out of bed, off they come. I had hoped this was a good product. But it is no better and may be worse than the elastic corner straps with the metal clamps.And.....less than an hour since I posted this. A FOURTH time. What.. are we not supposed to get off the bed AT ALL once these are on?This Is just ridiculous. You can't even sit or lay on the bed to relax or enjoy some TV?Seriously, these are not worth the money or frustration people.Update: so I’ve had these on the bed for about 7 weeks now. EVERY SINGLE DAY, AND MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY I AM CRAWLING UNDER THE BED TO RETRIEVE THESE STUPID BUTTONS. And yes, I have the silicone and non silicone buttons.Plus I have found the straps make ugly indentations in the bed which can be seen right through the sheets. No telling if they are doing long term damage to memory foam mattress. I am removing another star and these are going in the trash. Wish I could give no stars. I’ve had it.Again, don’t waste your money.

I'll update in 5 days
UPDATE... Ok it's been more than 5 days....these work great as long as the little buttons stay in.Climbing in and out of bed can make them pop free. You may not notice. Then they get lost or the vacuum sucks one up, the kitten or the puppy may steal them.Long story short. I have no idea where the little buttons have gone. As we have a rescue kitten, a new puppy and it's the kids chores to vacuum.I'm reluctant to buy them again just lose the buttons in two weeks. So I'm down grading this to 3 stars. So far, so good.We got a new mattress and NOTHING would stay in place. Sheets kept slipping off, even though these sheets had fit our previous mattress perfectly fine.I tried several different brands "extra deep", nope. This is my first try at a "sheet stay". On my days off, I stay in bed and fold a ton of laundry and watch movies or tv shows. So I've been climbing off and on , up and down and no slippage. I'll update this in a week if I remember.
