Description
- Filaflex is the original elastic filament for 3D printers, similar to NinjaFlex it is an even softer TPU and offers alternate color choices. As with Ninjaflex this filament will not work on all 3D printers. Please check your specifications before ordering.
- Approximately 50 grams of filament on a spool with a case so it's not flopping all over the place. Splash Spools store easily in a desk drawer, stacked space or even hang on a wall. Be sure you are ordering the correct diameter for your printer (1.75MM or 3MM). 1.75mm yields about ~57 feet/17 meters, 3mm yields about ~21 feet/6.4 meters.
- Shore Hardness = 82A. Harder to print but more stretchy and squishy than most other flexibles available. Truly flexible (no fill or layer manipulation required to achieve performance). 700% elongation allows for repeated movement and impact without wear or cracking. This is the squishiest, strechiest brand of flexibles we carry. (NinjaFlex = SH 85A)
- High adhesion with 3D printed bed. You do not need it to be heated. You do not need kapton or blu tape or hairspray. Glue stick recommended for PEI bed. You can combine FILAFLEX with PLA or ABS and create new hybrid prints with all new capabilities. It is resistant to fuel, solvents, and acetone. Tolerance: +-0.05mm Density: 1215 KG/M^3 Tensile Strength: 39 MPA
- Due to the flexibility of the material, it does not feed well on all 3D printers. Please check your printer specifications before purchasing.
Each Splash Spool is loaded with approximately 50 grams of Filaflex flexible TPU filament. The total length varies depending on whether you order 1.75mm or 3mm per your printer specifications. Filaflex is the original elastic filament and leads the industry worldwide thanks to its superior flexibility and longevity compared to non-polyurethane materials. This revolutionary material is a TPU (thermoplastic elastomer) with a polyurethane base and some additives to make it printable in your 3D printer with a Shore Hardness of 82A. Filaflex has an incredible elasticity that allows you to create elastic printed parts for your projects. This uniquely flexible material is ideal for direct-drive extruders. Due to it's elasticity, this material does not feed well on certain 3D printers, please check your printer specifications before purchasing.
