Ordered this watch for an elderly blind family member and so far it works great. Tells him the time every hour and the button to press is easy to find!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Purchased this for my husband! Suffers from Maculate degeneration so eyesight is a problem. He loves that this watch chimes on the hr. & talks! Highly recommend if you are suffering from low or no vision. Update on this amazing talking watch. It doesn't chime on the hr. there is a voice which is okay during the day but, not at 3:00 AM. He turned the automatic voice off. By pressing the side button you can get the voice as you please but, not on automatic to awaken you! 👍🏻 Brightness: great Visibility: Large face & the fact it talks is a bonus Time retention: so far it has been great, will update in a couple months

I got this for my husband who is legally blind. No way could either of us figure out how to change the time zone. I got a friend to set it. Now the time is Standard Time and it is supposed to reset itself. Not happening. After working on it for a frustrating hour, it is announcing the hour on the hour. That's going to be very annoying in the middle of the night. The extremely poorly written directions are great for someone who knows how to make it function. But not for a blind person. And as for the easily understandable voice, it's a male voice that is crackly and definitely not easy to understand. After a while you can understand it, but not if you are just sitting next to the wearer and don't know the voice. Of course it's too late to return it. Does anyone know of a better quality clock?

Seller Avetrek was very helpful with my Hearkent Atomic Talking Watch purchase. I buy this for my blind mother in assisted living. We didn't realize right away that we received the wrong watch. Avetrek, remedied the problem immediately and sent a replacement that was the correct item. This is our 3rd watch and the product is great! Perfect for a blind person. The watch tells time and date and automatically updates within 36 hours of Daylight savings/time changes via the satellites. Thank you!

I got this for my elderly neighbor who has enough of a vision problem he was really wanting to have the spoken part. While I didn't have problems, he had a very difficult time hearing anything and managing to push the buttons accurately was also difficult. So, for those who don't have as many issues, it might be better than it was for him.

This is a good watch. Nice large numbers. Easy to see. The voice is clear, easy to understand and loud enough to hear. I like that the watch sets itself. Just pick the time zone and the rest is set. This is a good watch for an elderly person who is starting to have vision and hearing problems. This also works well for an individual with the early to mild symptoms of dementia/alzheimer's. I bought this watch for such a person to help them to maintain a comfort level they were familiar with.

Easy to use, has the right amount of features. Purchased for a blind person and they are very satisfied with the watch.

My husband loves this watch, as he doesn't even need to open his eyes and it speaks to him when he pushes the button. He wears it in the shower, but the pool in Mexico flooded it and no coming back! However that happened before, but I put it in a bag of Rice for a few days and it came back that time! So I ordered it while we were away and when he got home his beloved new watch was waiting for him!! :)

Stopped working after a few weeks. Changed battery, still not working. Don’t waste your money
