A while back, I bought a pair of JBL Endurance DIVE headphones for use during my lap swim workouts. What a disaster. I wrote a review back then, can't find it, but I'm sure it was on par with what others said; for me they just didn't work. Great with Bluetooth (which doesn't work in the pool) but after one lap, leakage, and then no sound; that is not even mentioning how awful the controls are and how hard it is to load music on the puny 1GB of storage they offer.Okay, so this is not about JBL, it's just to say, WOW!What a difference.I typically swim with earplugs in, works great with these as, they don't go in your ears.These have physical buttons; the JBL's had touch controls; a disaster in the water; wasted so much time trying to get them to do what I wanted.These have 16GB of storage compared to the 1 the JBL's offer.This quickly loaded a pretty large "swim" playlist from an old laptop; flawlessly and without grief.The JBL's were a nightmare trying to load music.Bluetooth connects easily/quickly stays connected; 11-13 feet away; maybe more, I haven't checked....A US sounding voice speaks the words "power on, power off, pairing, connected" to confirm what operation is taking place.These have a specialized charging cable; normal usb at one end, but little magnetic pins at the other;(don't lose this cable).I've used these for two lap swims so far, ranging from forty minutes to just over an hour.They sound good in the water with earplugs in.Don't expect audiophile quality, but they sound good to me in that context.Really glad to have these.If I could have a couple of changes I would like:- when the power is on, for the device to stay in the last mode it was used in.- buttons on both sides; power/mode change on one side, volume/song skip/replay on the other.The buttons are a little small to navigate when you're in a pool. Doable, but it'd be nice.- a protective case would be nice; the back part that goes behind your neck has a bit of a spine, so you can't really fold these up; I want these to last a long time and don't want to break them.These are not overly tight fitting and I was concerned that they might fall off.I'm not swimming at competitive speeds, but they have stayed in place for me without falling off.That could happen if you swim really fast and do fast flip turns or have a sort of small head.Making the size/fit adjustable might be another nice feature to add (does not size adjust).Overall, I'd order these again in a heartbeat based on my experience so far.If I experience any issues that would change that view, I will update this review.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision; if so, please hit the "helpful" button below; Thanks :-).I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

This might help others….A plastic sandwich box works great as a protective storage/travel container.

I am going to call Amazon about product support. I looked on-line everywhere, all over U-Tube, about how to download music from Spotify to this product. There is ZERO help. This is very frustrating. I tried with my PC, and could not get music to download. Why do they not give buyers instructions??? There are minimal instructions that come with the earphones - also, nothing about how to use the ear piece, nothing. I watched the videos on Amazon, and no help. It this does not work soon, I will return it.
