Gentle for stressed hair, revives color, brunette tone is lovely
This worked for me. My hair color was faded after 2 months of not coloring due to chemo and cold capping. I dye my hair a light brown (eSalon). I have thin hair, made thinner and more brittle by 3 rounds of chemo. I couldn't stand my washed out color (now a yellowed light brown) and gray roots any more and searched for a gentle product that wouldn't cause even more hair loss than I've already experienced. I applied this product to mostly dry, unwashed hair - I only spritzed my brushed hair with water to humidify it first. Left product on for 25 minutes. Rinsed out, then conditioned my hair gently. Result: Color is a lovely medium brown, with a very natural look. It did cover my grays a bit, at least lightened them with a nice tone. Normal hair loss, did not cause excessive hair loss, hair felt very soft and conditioned afterward. I'm very pleased and feel and look so much better. This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Fuller hair
My hair is about 50% gray and 50% dark blond. I tried this product to perk up the color and also deep condition my thinning hair. I've read reviews that people don't like the smell, but I thought it was fine. It was as easy to use as a leave in conditioner. I got the silver color since I wanted to enhance my natural color. I let it air dry and my 3B curly hair was shiny, bouncy and looked fuller. It wasn't frizzy at all. I don't notice any difference in the color. I will add this product to my once a week routine. It is purple, so it seems like glorified purple shampoo.

VERY bright on silver white hair
I have salt and pepper hair and this made the silver/gray look VERY bright. I think this particular color works best for someone with predominantly white or silver, rather than mixed. I also ordered the Slate grey color and that one was better suited for my mixed color hair. My hair does feel soft after use. The color lasted about a week (i shampoo daily).

For we gray and silver gals..
I have gray hair and a gloss it once a week with this L’Oreal product. It thickens my hair and makes it feel really good. I would use it more often, but it does take some time to let it do its work and I don’t seem to have that kind of time but at least one once a week but or before I’m going out for a special event I use this product. It really makes my hair look good

Disappointed in L'Oreal product
Used at least 5 times and disappointed in results. I purchased the option to just add shine, no color enhancement. My hair is fine and I have not used any coloring products for over 2 years. The product does perform as a nice conditioner but I did not see any additional shine or glaze on my fine hair. My hair was very flyaway after use. Would love to try the option with color enhancement but don't want o waste the money. Looking for another product with hopes of better results.

Exactly what I needed
I recently got balayage highlights on my light/medium brown hair in order to try out some "rose brown" color streaks. The rose faded super fast and I was left with a bunch of yellowy pieces, which didn’t look good with my soft summer complexion. Rather than paying $300+ MORE for an entirely new look, I wanted a gloss to tone down the yellow and give me an ashier/icier look. This product did it. I kept it in for 5 minutes the first use, used it again a few days later and kept it in for 10 minutes. Ever since I mix a smaller amount in with my conditioner on each wash day to maintain. It smells great and while it doesn't leave a soft shiny finish on its own, using it with a conditioning mask once a week works well. Highly recommend for subtle yellow tone removal. The white shirt photo is the "before," FYI.

A Noticeable Difference
Some background information to help future discerning customers: - I’ve been bleaching my hair and dying it purple for about two years. First trip was to the salon, as I have long hair and bleaching it all myself was too nerve wracking. - I’ve been keeping up with my roots every 4-6 months and brightening up the color using Arctic Fox’s ‘Bleach, Please’ and ‘Purple AF.’ - This was my first time using any sort of toner (after having noticed the purple was consistently having a tougher time staying colorful on the newly bleached roots - I found I almost had to use the dye as a toner and do 2-3 rounds of dye over the roots.) So I thought I’d give actual toner a try, to see if it made any difference. - Other reviewers mentioned they’d noticed it had turned their hair purple/blue, but since I would be dying my hair purple anyway, I figured I’d give it a shot. The Toner: - It comes in a squeezable tube with a flip-top cap, which was quite nice considering I had my husband helping me out with the process. He’d squeeze a generous portion into my gloved hands, and I’d slather it over my hair. (Side note, I did my roots as well as the rest of my hair that was already dyed purple, since the toner claims to be conditioning, and my hair could have used a hydration boost.) - The color was a rich blue that faded into a much lighter periwinkle as it sat on my hair. - The texture was smooth and almost seemed to *very lightly* foam up a little bit, which helped me spread it around evenly and make sure every bit of my hair was saturated and coated with toner. The Experience: - As previously mentioned, it was very easy to work with. It coated my hair nicely, and I didn’t try to skimp on how much I used in an attempt to save product. I used about 3/4 of the tube (for reference, I my hair is about average thickness, naturally curly, and 2ft long when held straight). - I wore gloves and cleaned up the excess that had gotten on my shoulders/arms/neck/forehead/ears with a baby wipe. There was one spot on the back of my neck that looked like it might stain, but by the time I rinsed it all off in the shower, no stains remained. - I have a naturally red tint to the brown in my hair, so as you can imagine, bleaching it makes it fairly brassy. Upon rinsing I was a little worried I’d need another round of toner, but by the time it was all dry and I had a chance to truly inspect it, the toner had lifted about 95% of that brassiness. It didn’t turn platinum, but I didn’t need it to, so I consider it a win. It also didn’t leave any blue or purple tint to the bleached roots. - After the rest of The Purple-ing Process™️ was completed, I noticed quite the difference from the previous three times I did this process (without the toner.) Arctic Fox’s formulas do a pretty dang good job at keeping your hair as hydrated as possible, but without the toner I would still have about 3 days where my hair is fairly static-y before it settles down. WITH the toner, I didn’t have any static to my hair after the process, and it feels noticeably softer and silkier. - So far as the color correction goes, previously I would have re-Purpled my roots by now after noticing them turning more of a pinkish/brassy tone (after 1-2 washings.) Currently (after 1 washing) my roots match the dark, rich amethyst of the rest of my hair, and I’m delighted. I’ll absolutely be adding this to the upkeep process in the future.

This is the best product ever for maintaining blonde hair. I typically use it once a week to keep my hair a nice cool tone. I just use it in the shower and let it sit a little bit. So easy to use. Makes my hair soft and looks like I just got it toned. I’ve tried other similar toners but this one works amazing for my bleached hair and is one of the more inexpensive options.

I’m really happy to see my “red” brunette neutralised to a more cool tone. Even when I choose cool colours & blue green shampoo my hair always comes up red after the first wash. It was easy to use & didn’t drip. I have mid length thick hair & I think I’ll get 2-3 uses out of the tube, which is great. I also think it’s helpful to hide my grey roots in between colours.

Really adds a lot of colour. Great for a refresh of colour in between dye jobs. My hair becomes soft and managable also.
