I’ve repurchased easily 5+ times now. I am a platinum blonde, basically white blonde (think Elsa hair). And this helps keep my blonde bright and looks like it’s freshly toned especially with the hard water we have. I see some complaints about it washing out, and you have to be realistic cause of course it’s going to. I use about once a week (I also just hate yellow tone in my hair) And more often than 10 washes depending on if you have hard water or not, go to the pool, etc. and my stylist has never said that my hair looks dull like what can happen with using purple shampoo too much. This isn’t a dye that’s going to deeply penetrate with ammonia and developer and further damage hair. It helps keep it bright and acts just like a purple shampoo would. But I find this doesn’t overtone like purple shampoos do and leave a purple hue on my hair. Purple shampoo tends to do that very quickly on me. Ive used this in many scenarios that can dull my blonde and it always brings it back such as after the beach, pool days, and even just out and about in the Florida sun. It really helps me from having to get my hair toned in between salon visits. And my hair is softer after I use it.

This is hands down the best glossing toner for icy blondes. It cuts brass in one shower! There is not a single purple shampoo or conditioner on the market that compares to this. The ease? The fragrance? The EASE? My god, nothing is easier! Wash your hair, squeeze the water out, and put this in. This bottle is good for 3-4 washes, depending on hair length and porosity. Make sure you really get it in your hair good and comb it through. Also, your hair will be soooo soft after this! I literally will cry all of the tears if they discontinue it. In the photos, wavy hair is before, sleek hair is after. Exactly what I wanted!

Definitely does something! I’ve used it twice now and it takes some of the yellowing out. I haven’t had my hair done in about 8 months now and the summer sun has turned it quite yellow. I’d say this is a good product for the price.

I am on my third (edit: now it's my seventh) tube of platinum pearl and I can't express how much I love this stuff. When I bleach my roots I end up with level 9 yellow hair, which I then use Shades EQ to turn into more of an icy/gray blonde. But once that toner starts fading, the yellow creeps back in and that's when I start using this product. I leave it on for at least an hour under a shower cap, which does leave just a hint of lavender in my hair but I like that and intentionally leave it on for way longer than directed because I want that hint of color. It does darken up my blonde due to leaving it on for so long but that's the look I'm going for. The smell is pleasant and my hair is SOOOO soft after I rinse, despite all the abuse I put it through with bleaching and toners. Also, I scoured the reviews before purchasing and noticed a lot of the people who included pictures and complained about the product "doing nothing" used the wrong color. They either started off with hair that was too dark for the product to have an effect, or used the incorrect color to neutralize. So for the first issue of using this product on dark hair - this is a color-depositing product, it does not lift at all so if your hair starts off DARKER than the color that is coming out of the tube, your results will be almost imperceptible, or you will get no results at all. If you use blush BLONDE on brown hair, guess what - it's not going to do anything, because it is impossible to see a lighter color on dark hair. The color may be there, but you won't see it. Look at the color of the model's hair on the box - if your hair is significantly darker than that, chances are you will not see significant results. I will say, some of the before/afters in the product photos are misleading in my opinion, which I'm not a fan of because it gives people unrealistic expectations. Like the plum color most certainly will not turn truly black hair a bright purple like the photos claim, especially if it's virgin hair unless maaaaybe you're in very bright direct sunlight, but that's another discussion. If you are attempting to neutralize undertones, you have to choose the correct color based on what tone you are attempting to neutralize. Look at a color wheel. Purple neutralizes yellow, blue neutralizes orange. If you have orange brassy roots and use purple, it won't work. If you have yellow brass and use blue, same deal. And you cannot fix a bad bleach job with a product like this - if you do not lift your hair enough and end up with really orange roots or streaks, you need to bleach again, a color-depositing conditioner is not going to fix a bad bleach job. Your hair must be light enough for the conditioner to be able to neutralize. I do wish the products were labeled with what color the product actually is because that might help but do some research and choose the color that is appropriate for your hair, or do another round of bleach if your hair can tolerate it. But this product is not going to magically fix hair that was not lifted properly. This product also must be applied COMPLETELY evenly, otherwise you will get streaks. It takes me a good 20 minutes to work this through my semi-thick boob-length hair because if you don't fully saturate every strand, guess what - those strands will not be affected and you will end up with streaky hair. I haphazardly slapped this in my hair the first time I used it and I did end up with streaks. I've since learned my lesson and I section my hair into 6 parts and apply to each section until it is fully saturated from root to tip. And if certain parts of your hair are more damaged (aka pourous) the color will stick to those parts more as well. I start with the hair growing from the nape of my neck since it's less damaged, then move up my scalp and do the hair growing from the crown of my head last, which gets more abuse from the flat iron and therefore is more porous. Ends tend to be more damaged/porous compared to roots, so if that is a concern for you, apply to hair closer to the scalp first and slowly work your way down.

This stuff is sooooo amazing! Works best for me when I use a purifying, cleansing shampoo to get all the other hair stuff out of my naturally white hair. (I'm 75). I use the platinum pearl color and leave it in for 5 minutes. My hair comes out pearly white, shiny and super soft and I get compliments everywhere! Just bought my 10th tube!

This is TEMPORARY. I didn’t realize that. I’m not sure it made much of a difference toning down the brassy.

This product worked wonders for my 77 year- old blonde, grey, white hair. I used it for the first time today, following all the instructions, and am delighted with the results. It's easy to use. My hair is shiny, and the yellow is gone! Got the exact results I hoped for...I will recommend this to my family and friends.

I got my hair done at salon. I loved my hair. I needed my roots done and for some reason the Hairdresser didn’t tone it. She didn’t think it needed being done, but I think the lighting was different. I’m not sure but when I got home and I was talking to my daughter on FaceTime. We both realized that it needed some kind of toning it was, just that little bit of yellowish brassy that just didn’t look natural so I remembered that I had bought some of this stuff from L’Oreal so I decided well I’m gonna put it on and it said that it had depending on how long your hair was three sometimes even more Times using it I left it on for 10 minutes and then all I did was rinse it off and washed it with them only the product on it. I did not use anything else. I just scrubbed and scrubbed and rinsed off and I came out of the shower, dried my hair, and I looked and my hair was platinum blonde there was not one single yellow in it at all at first it was a real shock. I called my daughter on FaceTime and we both laughed so hard but as we were laughing and it started drying and we realized that actually it looked really good and then when I did it up, I made it a messy look because my hair is short. I did a messy chic and then I messaged her again on FaceTime and she said oh my God mama I love it. This is incredible. It’s absolutely incredible. You need to use it on the right tone. It has to be where your hair is at a certain level of color. You have to know the colour levels if your hair is brown it won’t do anything. It has to be a light enough blonde and must be blonde in order for it to do anything at all then when you use it watch it do it magic I use it once a week because we have hard water here and I still use my purple shampoo, but I use my purple shampoo with the salon shampoo because I don’t want my hair to get dry and so far is working very well and once a week I don’t use a lot of this stuff because my hair is short and for me a little long way I use it with my hair, damp wet. I make sure that it’s not dripping. I get it wet and then I dry it off of the towel and then I add this magical Treatment and it sometimes I do it for five minutes depending on how much I think I need sometimes I add from one up to the 10 minutes but no more than 10 minutes. I don’t want my hair to be purple. I just want it to be a nice white blonde and I am enjoying it eventually I’m gonna be getting Smudges when my hair grows longer and I am hoping that while it actually will because the roots much is gonna be a dark blonde or a light brown so it won’t do anything to it so it’ll still be OK. I’m extremely happy you’ve got light blonde hair that tends to go brassy get this stuff. You will never regret it.

At first I was skeptical. I am level 10 destroyed bleach blond and it was looking flat and this mask gave me shine and great tone I used a third of it on towel dried hair , brushed it through with wide tooth comb and left it on for ten mins then rinsed it and used my regular hair mask then rinsed that. Very excellent cool tone like t18. My hair was so damaged I couldn't even put toner on it , because of peroxide. This one is like a normal hair mask , no peroxide.
