Cotton Voile White, Fabric by the Yard

Definitely 100% cotton according to a burn test unlike what another reviewer stated, no synthetic fibers at all. This will be perfect for underlining which is what I ordered it for but would also make a beautiful lightweight summer blouse. The fabric is very sheer but so very lovely.

I just ordered a sample to gauge how it would look in my bedroom. Very happy with the look of it, so I will be ordering all the fabric necessary for my project. Very fast shipping. Pleasure to work with.

This is a sheer 100% cotton voile. I confirmed its cotton content by a burn test: gray smoke, yellow-orange glow and fluffy ash. It is smooth, but not as soft as some other cotton voile fabric. I would buy it again.

Just right for my intended sewing use.

I also conducted a burn test. It burned like a natural fiber, no little balls of flaming hot plastic, and the fabric is woven so well it maintained its structure even when charred. It also takes color very well - I use natural dyes which usually don’t adhere to synthetic material.But honestly, this is cotton voile y’all. It’s going to have a little stiffness but after washing I found that it maintained its structure but had a little bit of drape.Will purchase again!

I used it for vintage nightgowns with added embroidery. It was perfect!

This was a dream to work with and added the perfect detail to my 1928 pattern dress. I pre-washed and ironed the fabricbefore cutting out the pattern. It is slightly sheer as I expected it to be but not as sheer as some that classify as "lawn" and the softness allows the wrinkles to smooth out nicely.

I use them to make cream cheese and they are perfect, easy to clean. They are also wide enough to fit in any strainer and easy to wrap and gather the milk
