I've been maintaining my saltwater tanks for over a year now and have gone through a variety of products in attempts to have the ultimate setup. In my experience, a lot of the products out there aren't necessary to have a healthy aquarium. While I believe the Kent Liquid Calcium does exactly what it's intended to do, I think your money would be better spent on other products. Unless you specifically have a calcium deficiency, it would be more beneficial to have a two-stage dosing product that helps to maintain the levels of multiple "chemicals" in your tank, including alkalinity.While I appreciate the usefulness of this product in specific applications, you can purchase all of these aquarium products, fill up your tank cabinet, empty your wallet, and months later find yourself repeatedly using the same one or two products over and over again. In a hobby that can get overly complicated extremely fast, do yourself a favor and purchase a more well-rounded solution to keep your tank healthy and your corals growing fast!I'm giving this product a 5 out of 5...quite simply because it does exactly what it's supposed to do and doesn't come with any negative side effects! It's not my place to negatively review a product simply because I'm not sure if it's right for my specific aquarium setup. Everyone is different and if you continually combat calcium deficiency in your tank, Kent's product will definitely get your levels where they should be.

I use to use this product a lot and loved it for my freshwater snails. Life happened and tanks took the back burner. Ordered more because I want to start getting back into it. I'm sure the product is the same as years ago when it was my go to, but Amazon shipped it without a lid. I know this is not how the product is normally sold. I will now just buy it from either Petco or a small LFS instead.

This is the best calcium supplement I have found. Super convenient because it's liquid and it doesn't mess with my water (I have a 55gal community tank). It helps my apple/mystery snails shells so much! Great product

I had really soft aquarium water and the shells on my mystery snails were getting thin and brittle. I bought this desperate for them to be ok and it didn't take long for their shells to harden up and become glossy. They look healthy and great again. This puts me at ease. I would suggest this if you're a crazy snail lady like me or your snails' shells don't look so good like mine did. It will help a great deal

Great product for helping me dose and maintain alkalinity in my 120 gallon salt water tank. I've been using this stuff for years and confident that it has helped me maintain an optimal reef environment. For the price, best value around for dkh dosing.

I have now been dosing my 5 gallon nano reef tank for around 3 months and the calcium levels are right on the mark with red calcareous algae growing on the glass (a GOOD sign of correct levels of calcium!!). A great product at a great price along with fast shipping. What more can a customer ask for?
