This is my first bike and I love it. I chose this one because the fly wheel is encased. It is safer to ride around my cats.Came with a couple scratches that would normally bother me but I love the bike so I’ll get over it.You can’t see your resistance or cadence without the app. So you will need to plug the bike in if you want Bluetooth. I couldn’t figure out how to use the app without activating the free trial. So I found a different app to use instead. It doesn’t have a screen so you will need a phone or tablet if you want. Or you can just ride it without Bluetooth if you don’t care to see your resistance or cadence.This bike does not have SPD pedals so if you like to clip in you will need to buy those separately.The seat hurts my butt. I might buy the oversized seat if I don’t get used to it. I already feel like it’s hurting less after one week of riding.Bike is easy to assemble, sturdy, quiet, smooth. I’m a new rider so I think it’s a good entry level bike for the price. I’m pretty happy with it. Now I don’t have to travel to the gym for a quick cardio session.

Two years after my initial purchase I final invested in bike cleat shoes. Sadly it took me this long to discover there was a manufacturer error made in the pedals. The model claims the that it adapts to two, types of shoes, street shoes and bike shoes with cleats. Though this may be true the pedals sent with my bike were installed with reversed shoe cleats and and in order to switch from street shoes to Spd cleatbike shoes the pedals need to be removed

This is a fantastic bike for the money! Set up was super easy, took me about 30 mins total including unboxing. The ride is incredibly smooth and totally silent. It’s got a small footprint which is really great if you are in an apartment or have limited space. All the tools are included and there are very few parts in the assembly. I’ve not set up the app yet, but will give the free trial a try. One thing to note, this bike comes standard with a racing seat. Racing seats are not designed for comfort, so if you’re not used to them you have a couple options- swap out the seat, or get cycling shorts which have padding in the butt. I am not a fan of the squishy seats, as they are wide so if you stand up for climbing, stick with the seat this comes with and do yourself a favor and invest in a good pair of cycling shorts. You should also note that everything is adjustable - take some time to try different riding positions before you judge this bike as it can make a difference. I’m 5’ 8” and it’s perfect for me, and I could see this working for anyone between 5’ and up to 6’4” which is a pretty big range for a bike. This replaces an old chain spin bike that I’ve had for a decade and wow, what an upgrade. It’s everything I’d hoped for at a quarter of the price of the fancy bigger name spin bikes. Echelon makes other fitness equipment including workout mirrors, so it is not some fly-by-night company. I’ve been looking for a solid bike for about 6 months and did a lot of research befor investing; I’ve shifted from running to cycling to save my knees and so definitely wanted something high quality. The build feels super solid and as I said, the ride is smooth and comfortable. Can’t wait to add this to my daily workout routine. Having been an avid spinner for years in gyms finally decided to get this echelon bike based on all the good reviews.Was packed very well and easy to put together between 2 people.The ride is amazingly smooth and the bike is solid!I see all the reviews about an uncomfortable seat, but all spin bikes have uncomfy seats, invest for minimal cost in a gel seat for better comfort.We ended up downloading the Qdomyos Zwift bike app on a tablet and the bike immediately paired with it. Great for tracking your results on each ride. I ride to U tube classes and my husband just likes a pair of earbuds and his own music.My only minor complaint is not being able to move the handlebars forward or back but of course they go up and down. The pedals come with clips and cages and the clips accepted our spin shoes perfectly. Weve been riding it daily for 3 weeks and we are very happy with this purchase!!

Enjoy using the bike. It was easy to put together and is fairly quiet. There’s an audible clicking noise from the flywheel when pedalling sometimes but it doesn’t bother me too much. Didn’t like the echelon app for iOS so I installed a third party app to get cadency and resistance information instead.
