SUPER MOISTURIZER
My skin is dry. After being in the pool and/or hot tub my skin feels especially tight and itchy. This thick moisturizer helps relieve the dryness. I apply it after my shower when my skin is still warm and damp to seal the moisture in. A little goes a long way, so it's economical.

Soothes and Heals Extremely Dry Skin Without Harmful Ingredients
This is a really good lotion for extremely dry and itching skin. When I woke up in the middle of the night because my leg desperately needed to be scratched as the result of super, super dry skin, I was glad I had this irritable balm handy. Within a few seconds of rubbing it on, it was immediately soothing enough that I was able to go back to sleep. This same itching and then soothing with the balm pattern happened three times the next day but it didn’t happen again after that and my skin seemed softer and moisturized. I’m glad to have found a product that relieves and heals my sometimes grumpy skin, which is not made with any toxic ingredients (I really like the ingredients list on this product!) Also, it’s lightweight, absorbent, and non-greasy as promised. However, a negative I’ve found is that too much comes out each time I use it so it’s going quicker than expected. Also, while it’s not supposed to have any scent, I dislike that it smells like a mix between play dough and paste. In spite of these cons, I'll be likely to reorder because of its effectiveness and healthy ingredients.

Good ingredients, absorbed nicely, softened skin...
I liked this skin balm because of the healthy ingredients and the way it absorbed nicely into my skin. The balm comes in a tube with a safety seal, it doesn't really have much of a scent, and it's Made in Australia. It comes out in a creamy consistency, and my skin soaked it up without having any sort of oily residue or sticky/tacky feeling after applying. My skin was actually left velvety smooth and soft. This is only a four star for me because I felt like I had to apply balm a while later and it wasn't as long lasting as I would have hoped. I would still recommend it based on price, ingredients, and performance.

Very soothing for my dry itchy skin
I've never heard of MooGoo products before, but I'm very pleased with this irritable skin balm. This winter has been horrible for my hands and legs! My hands are so dry that the tips of my fingers crack, and my legs have itchy scaly patches on places. This is an odorless creamy white lotion that feels silky, glides on easily and absorbs almost instantly without feeling oily or greasy.Since the ingredients aren't posted on the product page, here they are:Aqua (H₂O’s fancy name), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Squalane (Olive), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Leaf Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil (Dalmatian), Piroctone Olamine, Polysorbate 60 (Food Grade Emulsifier), Allantoin, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Xanthan Gum (Food Grade Thickener), Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract. This lotion is so soothing and moisturizing! I've only used it for a couple of days so far, but my legs don't itch anymore, and the dry patches of skin are starting to heal. I'm so happy with this balm that I placed an order for another tube to give to my daughter too. It is a little expensive for 4 ounces, but I think the quality and results are worth it in this case.

Don’t use on face, neck, or chest if…
…you have genuinely sensitive skin.I’ve found that “natural products” tend to be far more irritating than synthetic ingredients over the past decade+. However, I’m sensitive to silicones, including polymers and carbomer… which are in pretty much all “not natural” (*rolls eyes*) products. This was a bust for me. I had a histamine rash on my cheek and down my neck and upper chest (due to a mast-cell disorder), and I thought this product could help. Instead, it turned a bout with hives into contact dermatitis, so now I’ve exacerbated an already irritable skin disruption, and completely wrecked my skin barrier….I’m mad at myself because I knew better. Especially because I’ve never met a person (and I was “IN” the skincare industry for years) who ever had success with high-volume of ingredients products—there’s more room for ingredient interactions with introduced to a disrupted skin barrier. So, this is my fault. But since this product is marketed to people with irritated skin, I felt it important to share my experience. To remedy the damage done, I’ve slimmed my products used down to Curel’s oil cleanser to clean my face. Bioderma Sensibio’s Micellar water to double-cleanse (and that’s all I use in the morning to cleanse my face). I use Bare Naturals liquid aloe Vera mist to moisten the skin for better absorption of moisturizer. I moisturize with Avéne’s low-ingredient Tolerance Balm (*Chef’s Kiss*). And, at night, I follow that up with a heavy layer of Avéne’s Cilcalfate+ zinc cream—this is ultimately the best barrier repair product I’ve ever used for someone with dry skin. I wouldn’t use it if you have oily skin, but normal and even combination skin types will love it. Oily skin and no silicone sensitivity? Try La Roche-Posay’s Balme B5.Anyhow, it’s been two days since this product set me back majorly, and my contact dermatitis on my face is gone, and the neck and chest are about 85% back. However, I’ll continue with this basic, healing-focused skincare routine for at least 4 weeks before I bring back a retinoid and any other products.I hope this all can help even one person! 🤞I try not to worsen my environmental impact by returning products often, so thankfully this is usable on other parts of my body. So I’ll keep it. But I certainly won’t be repurchasing.

Great for my sensitive skin, but I think mine went rancid
Unfortunately, despite being very far in advance of the expiration date, my MooGoo Irritable Skin Balm smells rancid. I think I may have just gotten a bad one. I tried it anyway, and this product works great for me! I have super sensitive skin such that many sensitive skin products irritate my face and cause stinging. This one doesn't bother my skin at all. It absorbs easily and leaves my face feeling nicely moisturized. I would be willing to give this product another chance as I am getting nice results despite the unpleasant smell.
