I have this light behind an amethyst geode. It lights it up beautifully and with the changing colors you can achieve different effects. My grandson loves changing the colors

The other colors are so cool! I can't wait to use them in a holiday situation. We can't really tell on the brightness of the lights, they are used just to highlight an area that does have some light already. They add light but are not super bright.

Mounted on our ceiling the light projected does exactly what it is supposed to do. I recommend buying multiples for art work, displaying objects from afar, etc.

The lights were good but the timer function is sub-par. I thought I would turn them on at dark, they would glow for 4 or 5 hours, then shut themselves off for 24 hours and repeat the process. Nope. Turn on these timers and the lights stay on for 1 short hour and do not, I repeat do not, turn back on in 24 hours. Not the kind of timer that I find at all useful. They went back.
