Bought the PLM03 power cage with cable system exactly a year ago and it is great. I have the red one and I get a lot of compliments from neighbors seeing the system. Not only does it look good but it is sturdy, easy to use, and performs very well. All of us in our household use this machine. The pull on the cable is smooth. I have bought additional attachments for back, legs and arms and all are compatible. I have loaded it with weight plates of upwards of 300lbs and it can handle it. I can say after a year of use that it is durable. It easily fits our single car garage with extra room for a preacher curl, another bench press, dumbbell racks, plates rack and a leg press machine. In my opinion, this machine is one of the best purchases I have made.After a year of punishment and heavy plate load, the cables are starting to rip on the plastic skin, though cable steel is still very much intact. I have contacted the company to ask about the length of cable and other information so I can purchase cable replacement. They quickly answered and offered to send me replacement cables at no charge. This company (Major Lutie) stand by their product and warranty. If you are looking for a power cage/cable machine/ smith machine this is a great brand in terms of functionality, durability, product support and warranty! Buy this!

Great home gym, it has everything you need to get a good workout. Definitely a great investment and saves time on going to the gym and waiting for machines to open to get your workout in. The assembly took about 2 hours by myself it really helps if you have a power drill and sockets although the system does comes with basic assembly tools. I’ve been having it for 3 months at this point and it sure beats driving to the gym after work or before. The only improvement I would like would be better grip handles on the pull-up bar and on the lat pull down attachment, the grips turn when ever you put some real weight on them and it sort of messes with your grip other than that the gym is legit great price and good quality. No more excusses get your workout in!!

This is a great power rack for the price. I got it on sale, and feel it is worth the regular asking price as well. It is very well built, sturdy, and supports all the exercises I was looking to do. I got the version with the bench.My only gripe was the installation manual. It is very short, and it is hard to tell from the blurry/shoddy pictures which way certain parts go together. For example, I installed the pillars backward so that the cabling wasn't running the way it should, so I spent an extra 20 minutes disassembling and reassembling because I couldn't make this distinction from the pictures in the manual. I discovered installation videos on YouTube, which is the only reason I discovered my mistake with the pillar alignment. I took off a star because they really need more clear pictures in their installation manual.Otherwise, this is a badass power rack and looks great in my home gym. I highly recommend this unit at this price range.

I meticulously researched home gym solutions; from the very expensive to the cheapest options out there. I opted to go middle of the road cost wise, based on the reviews found here. The reviews did not disappoint at all. In fact, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. My family uses this thing every day. It’s great for a wide variety of sizes and ages. It is incredibly sturdy and stable as I use it for pull ups or anything else. I’m 6’4” 300 lbs and found it to be very well built, as advertised. I know everyone is afraid of the fake reviews, but I assure you mine is real and I was not compensated to give it. For the money we spent, I am very satisfied. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.It was very simple to put together. I did it alone in about 4 hours. The instructions are not great, but the video on YouTube and other videos I found from customers filled the gap.We are a family of 6; ages 8-44 and all use this thing daily. It has made working out as a family possible and will pay for itself in no time at all. No regrets and I highly recommend you take a chance on the Major Fitness brand.

The pulley system is a great extra for a robust weight rack

This power rack had key features I was looking for, such as the ability to use two different cable handles to isolate chest and back muscle groups as well as many other exercises. It also includes the landmine and seated row capabilities. Assembly wasn’t difficult or overly time consuming. Be sure not to tighten bolts overly tight because you’ll start to bend/cave-in the relatively thin metal tubing. I wish it had a an attachment to allow seated lat pulls, but you can stack decent weight while sitting on the ground with a bumper weight in your lap.The biggest downsides I’ve found beyond the relatively thin frame metal include one of the pre-assembled pulleys rubbing the frame (also indicated by other customer reviews) and the cable adjustment knob spring assembly being a clear weak point. I’ve managed to shave down the pulley to keep it from rubbing, but you’ll see in two of the pictures how it starts shaving itself when you add more weight. I guess we could chalk this up to “break-in procedures”. The other weak point felt weak from the start, so I’ve tried to finesse each time using the cable adjustment knob (allows sliding up and down the rack frame). Even going deliberately easy on this knob was not enough for it to last more than two months. If you’re not familiar, the knob essentially has two cooperative knobs in itself, where the larger knob turns to tighten the adjustment into place securely against the frame while the smaller knob (with internal locking pin) simply pulls out as you adjust up or down to the next frame hole, then you allow the spring assembly to set the knob/pin back into place, securing the adjuster into the selected frame hole. After the knob/pin is set in the frame hole, you tighten the outer knob to more securely hold the adjuster in place. This spring assembly snapped abruptly during an adjustment, slicing my finger as seen in one of the photos. It wasn’t a huge issue, but I haven’t looked to see how much effort it will now require to fix/repair/modify to keep using the adjustment feature.***UPDATE on 10NOV2022***The manufacturer reached out in response to the initial review. Their customer service sounds promising, as they plan to ship replacement parts to remedy the rubbing pulley as well as a new spring pin assembly. This is a great sign in that I did not reach out to customer service to complain or request parts; they read my initial review and let me know they’re sending replacement parts. This experience leads me to adding another star (initially a 3-star review, now 4 stars) to the updated review.
