Thomas' 123 Book (Thomas & Friends) (Pictureback(R)) Paperback – Picture Book, January 8, 2013

My Grandson is a big fan of "Thomas the Train" books!...(Most new additions to the collection are renamed "Thomas and Friends" so be aware!)...They are interactive with sounds and the stories are entertaining. They make great gifts anytime and for any occasion. The 123 was harder to find than the ABC, however, Santa came through!...All Thomas books are the best toddlers learning tools.

I like the content, it allows my son to go through and count the items on each page (as well as get excited about seeing a different train on each page).The pages are very thin and will only be able to handle a few dozen read throughs (which if your kids love Thomas you know will be in your future). But for the price, well worth buying.

It goes up to 20, and my son loves it. He actually seemed addicted to it for a while, so that we all know it front to back now. Once you've read it a few times, you can start to switch things up, and I was surprised how ready he was for that. For example, Edward has 3 cars, and Gordon has 4...the book asks, which is greater? But I try to ask a different question every time: Which is fewer? which has less? Which is on the left? which is faster? He's also been able to recognize most of the teens, which was challenging at first. It's been a great book for us.

My son who is on the autism spectrum absolutely loves the Thomas 1, 2, 3 book. He loves anything Thomas, but he has a few other books that he can take or leave. This one kept his attention amazingly. He flipped through it back and forth several times naming all the engines and pointing out the numbers. The pictures are very interesting, and there are a lot of opportunities for interaction and teaching with a child. I actually just wanted to thank whoever put this book together. It's an instant treasure at our house.

The only reason I regret purchasing this book, is because I have 1 Thomas the Train library book and it's for an older child and I was surprised that my toddler who normally won't sit through so much of me reading, will actually sit through that.The one I purchased on Amazon is simpler, and is a fast read. Still a great book, but since my toddler is obsessed with Thomas, I learned late that he'll sit for any length Thomas book.So, I wish I would of gotten a harder book with more of a story.

It's pretty good. Love how it counts all the way to 20, since my 2.5 year old has already mastered counting to 10. I wish the pictures of the items to be counted were much bigger though. The picture of the train is big and takes up 2/3 of the page, but then you are trying to count these teeny tiny seagulls in the corner. But I like it much better than another counting book we have that is too huge with flaps you have to lift up and very cumbersome. This book is a more comfortable size for me to hold while my son is on my lap.

My son loves this story! We are huge Thomas fans in our house and we had the Thomas ABC book, so I was very happy to see this 123 book. My son was thrilled to match up the set and see all his train friends in another great quality Thomas storybook. I recommend this book for everyone and really any age that wont rip the pages. My son is 8 and still likes to read counting books.

This is a great paperback to learn counting with Thomas and his friends! It includes so many characters with their jobs and items they carry or help use when working. I didn't expect it to count to more than 10... It goes to 20 so easily and is fun for our 2 yr. old who likes learning the names of the items counted as well as the numbers. Thomas is always a good incentive for learning!

El libro tiene muy buen contenido. Enseña a contar del 1 al 20. Lo único malo es que es muy delgado y de cubierta suave. A mí hijo le encantó.El único inconveniente que tuve fue con el servicio de paquetería de Amazon. Dejo el paquete fuera de la casa sin realizar ninguna notificación. No sé porque no tocaron el timbre o mínimo echar una llamada para avisar que el paquete estaba afuera.

Mi aspettavo di meglio sui numeri, immagini un po confusionarie. Non adatto per insegnate i numeri a bimbi piccoli ma dai 5/6 anni in su. Per il prezzo pagato è un buon prodotto soprattutto per chi ama il trenino Thomas e adora sfogliare libri.

安かったので購入しました。最近英語教室がマンネリしてましたが、トーマスの絵本のおかげで見てくれるようになりました。安いだけあって、本の作りは薄いです。小さい子供がいる方は破られないように注意が必要です。気に入りました。ありがとうございます

My daughter loves this book and I'm hoping it'll help her to count beyond 10 as she currently loops back to 3. Any Thomas fan in need of counting assistance, take note!
