Yamato - Fantasy Figure Gallery statuette PVC 1/6 Ritual (Luis Royo) 33 c

This 1/6th scale of 'Ritual', designed by Luis Royo, is a very beautiful PVC figure (I believe there is also a larger version). The sculpt and pose are well executed, and the tattoo markings on her body are printed finely.The main complaint I have about this figure is about the loose pieces of cloth that are meant to envelop her body. The cloths, also of PVC, are supposed to be held together with small pegs. The problem is, they don't hold well at all, and the pegs stick out awkwardly, so the cloths looks a little weird while on her body.As I do not reside in America and the seller does not ship to my country, I had to have this statue shipped to a US address first (I used ComGateway), and then shipped to me, so I paid around USD$250+ in total.While the figure is lovely, I don't think $250+ (including shipping and not including my local customs duties) for this statue is worth it, if you are an international customer like me. And if I were living in America, I think paying $100 - $120 maximum would be a fair price point for this statue, in my opinion.*Statue purchased in October 2016*

She is a absolutly beautiful piece,just recieved mine today and cannot for the life of me take my eye's off her.In the light her face almost looks to real,and for a moment I thought I saw the eyes starting to shift as I looked into her face,maybe to much sugar this morning.There are a few gripes,one of which is that they did a little too much shading around the panty area,it really does look like she has a slight rash but if you leave the dress on it,it will pretty much make not so noticable.The tattoo work was amazing,they really did take their time imprinting the decals onto the statue.The top does not really fit that great but I think they want you to make the choice as soon as you take her out of the box if you want to pose her topless or not.One thing I notice about these works because I just got my Black Tinkerbell yesterday is you do run the risk of damaging the statue if you keep taking the tops on,and off either by scatching a tattoo off of Ritual or by breaking the head or wings off of Black Tinkerbell.With Black Tinkerbell you have to take off the head,and wings to take the top off,and to me it is not worth it so I just left the top on.With Ritual I still have not made up my mind because I know I can get the top to snug fit,and closed but I might run the risk of breaking it if I do try to take it off in the future for display,so I might just leave the top on permanently,and close up that clothing gap on her side with tape or something else.It stated first edition on the plaque but there was no item number or total number made for that edition so I think it was just misprinted,and it is out of a second edition cast.Overall a gorgeous statue,and a definate attention getter whenever you have a gathering around,I can't wait until the price on Medusa's Gaze starts to drop if it ever will.

The detailing is gorgeous. Note, the sheer "fabric", which is also plastic can be removed, so might not be appropriate for younger folks, if that is a concern to you. I would also not recommend removing this for cleaning either. We had a little bit of difficulty with the snaps on the plastic "clothing"...although new in the box, it was not secured upon reciept and needed to be snapped back together, but the plastic is thin, so we worried about accidentally breaking it. The clothing clips are at the side of the left side of the abdomen (non-sword arm) and consist of two "tabs" that slide into indentations on the connecting piece and a 3rd tab connecting the fabric over the arm to the fabric on the abdomen. Those two side tabs don't secure very well and I think we may need to glue it. I mention this because if you are purchasing in person and notice that the fabric appears to be loose, it is not easy to put back on, so you might want to take a different package that is still secured properly. Other than that, the paint is excellent and the piece is beautiful - the sculptor really captured the likeness of the character in the drawing this derives from. It secures firmly to the base and other than the above mentioned issue with the fabric, is not flimsy in construction. I would not attempt to remove the plastic clothing unless you plan to display her like that permanently. I don't think the artist could achieve the same look using fabric, but if they recast the clothing or use similar fastening on other models, I hope that the manufacterer changes the design of those tabs to something that works better and stays secure. This was purchased as a gift.

I LOVE this statuette!This is my very first statuette and this is an amazing piece of art! I say ART because this is not something you want to buy for someone to play with. It is a work of art and should be treated as such :)The details are excellent. The tattoos look real on her skin.I would have given this statuette a 4 because of the clothing not fitting properly. After some research though it seems to be a common flaw, and I use that term loosely. It can be fixed by applying light heat to the garment and remolding it to fit properly.Side note: I ordered mine from HeroKingdom at a great price. The package came in excellent condition and the box was also MINT.I recommend that seller highly, and wish to thank them for the great packaging job! :)

lo que mas me a gustado del producto es sus acabados y sobre todo su color maravilloso.lo que menos me gusto es la ropa extra que es de muy baja calidad a comparación con el resto de la figura y los encajes para ponérsela no están a la altura son malos y no se insertan adecuadamente ya que se vuelven a desencajar con facilidad. Pero no importa ya que el resto de la figura es sublime y la tengo haciendo topless sosteniendo a los demas artículos que tengo de la colección malefic

少々高かったが、購入。こういった大人も楽しめるようなフィギュアがもっとあってほしい。

本体はしっかりして美しく満足したけれど土台と人形を固定する穴が１箇所しかなく重みに対して固定大丈夫？と思ったら、３，４日後に足裏にある固定用のプラスチック製の棒が折れてフィギュアが落ちてショックでした。これ、返すとこまでいかなかったけれど、不良品じゃあないの？やっぱし、連絡すればよかったかしら。
