Q: Is this alcohol free, gluten free? How does it taste?

The label says 100% pure Oregano Oil. Nothing about alcohol or gluten on the label. This is EXTREMELY potent. So if you try taking a drop straight in your mouth or on your tongue, at first it has a strong oregano taste, but then it burns so strongly the taste doesn't matter and you can only think about rinsing it out ASAP. I use it for canker sores and it works better than anything else. I take 3 or 4 drops in about 2 ounces of water, swish it around trying to keep it in contact for as long as possible. About 2 minutes is all I can stand. Then rinse. My wife uses it in a waterpic and it helps her too. Works fantastic. Highly recommended.

Q: Can I place this on outdoor rocks or something else to repel pests

I use this Citronella Oil to repel flies, wasps and Mesquites. I think it depends on what you want to repel. I mix it with 1/3 ratio mineral oil (or baby oil) to Citronella, to make it last longer on a surface. I put it on my horses and my skin as well. It repels flying insects. Cats do not like this smell I have noticed. I have bought this product multiple times and plan to buy it again.
