This product works great for ALL air leaks around the house. I finally got around to checking windows, door frames, and ducts for air leaks in my recently purchased (built in 1980's) house. I was amazed at how much air I was loosing due to small gaps here and there that I was never able to see without this tool. Next step is closing up those gaps and holes. I'm anxious to see how this will help lower my electric bill this summer.

I should have bought the powder puffer instead. This one is a little messy with the liquid, leaks. Hard on your finger after a bit. hard to get puffer going, changed to quality batteries, still hard to get it to smoke. worked good once. went to another heating duct, green light lots of gurgling tiny bit of vapor. It'll go in the garbage soon and I'll get baby powder to squeeze at the HVAC, or match sticks and a candle. Definitely not worth the return hassle.

Worked ok I would have liked a little thicker smoke, but worked ok.

Being an engineer in the mechanical building systems industry, there are times when we are looking at the building or room pressurizations. We recently were dealing with these issues and had a need for a smoke test. I found this device and ordered it. It arrived in a timely fashion and worked well. It takes a little practice on filling the reservoir and not overfilling it. Once we got the hang of it, the smoke was generated pretty well and we could test the areas in question.

Easy to use to find small leaks inside. Not so useful for automobile. Really doesn’t make much smoke

Excellent customer service. I initially received a defective unit. I had reached out to Jason by emailing his contact info that’s on his business card. He responded almost immediately and was very helpful. He had me try a couple of things before sending me a replacement unit. I received it 3 days later and it works perfectly! Neat little product and a good price point. Very pleased!

Works but emits very little smoke to be useful. Don't purchase unless a small smoke generation works for your application.
