Decent Tablet
Have had this tablet for quite some time. It has worked fairly well, with few exceptions. When I originally bought it, I tried to install CyberLink's PowerDVD, to no avail (I wanted to use an external DVD drive with it). Also tried to install Windows Media Center after upgrading to Win8.1 Pro. WMC installed but never ran properly (something about memory issues). The newest versions of iTunes would not install, either. I wound up finding a copy of iTunes 9 that installed and worked. Those were the big issues (I'll explain my use of the past tense shortly). On the plus side, the Windows/Xbox software (Video, Music, etc.) always worked well. MS Office worked great, of course. All the other third party software I installed worked without a hitch (Photoshop Elements, various ePub creation and reading software, etc.) I didn't have much luck pairing a Bluetooth mouse with it, but no problem: I found a USB 3.0 4-port hub, and voila! I could use an old Logitech keyboard/mouse combo with it, as well as having my external hard drive and my external DVD drive hooked up (no movies from the DVD, of course). Now, to explain my use of the past tense. Great news for all Aspire P3 owners: yes, Windows 10 will install on this tablet! (If you can, use the media creation tool on another computer to make a USB thumb drive to use for installation, and run the Disk Cleanup tool afterward to clear the setup files). The greatest part about Windows 10 on this machine: PowerDVD (and I'm assuming other software of that sort, like Corel WinDVD) not only installs correctly, but also works very well, at least with DVD's. As I recall, the tablet isn't quite powerful enough to play Bluray, at least not the 1.1 gHz Pentium one. WMC is a moot point because it went away for Windows 10. The tablet also does a good job streaming video from VUDU, Google Play, etc. as long as you use Google's Chrome web browser. Microsoft Edge won't cut the mustard on that.Update on 11/22/2015I tried watching a Bluray on this with an external drive. It works great! All you need is a USB hub so you can plug in both the power and data cords. I'm using an HP Bluray drive in a generic USB 2.0 case.

Acceptable for the price I paid
I bought this as a christmas gift for someone else. When I purchased this it was at an extreme discount. I would not pay $600 for this device. There are a few things I would note right off the bat. As others have stated, this does not include the keyboard case. I was able to purchase that directly from Acer.If you are not familiar or used to a 2-in-1 device or are not incredibly tech savvy, this can take a little time getting used. Having a touchscreen windows device is nice, and if you struggle at first, there is always the desktop option which is more standard of a windows platform.Despite having 2gb of RAM, I feel that this machine functions rather slowly or delayed at times. Definitely not as quickly as other devices I own with similar specifications. The overall size is perfect, it is not too small, and not overly large or clunky. Having the case is a big plus as it helps protect the screen as well as allows it to function as a laptop, mostly. It doesn't lock into place, so if you are laying around it can slip out if you move to abruptly.

I did notice upon reading the fine print that there is a last bullet item on ...
No problem with this one EXCEPT: it was not well identified that the keyboard/cover was not included. The video shows it but does not say that it was optional (an added $100 cost). I did notice upon reading the fine print that there is a last bullet item on the description that the kb/cover is not included. It would have been better if it was highlighted right off the bat as this could have changed my decision to purchase. I think AMAZON should do a better job with showing was items are included. The produce photos and the video was really deceiving. Also, it is crazy that amazon would sell this product but not provide for the optional kb/case. I had to go to acer.com to purchase this separately. Not very streamlined shopping experience in my many years as an amazon.com customer.

Has been a big problem to get someone to send me the right one on the advertise. The protective case was the KEY for me to buy it from Amazon. It was really which call more attention. Will be very nice if I can a replacement but until now has been a problem. a BIG PROBLEM.If you want to sell more of them needs to set up the right advertise.Since I reported yesterday, Amazon had this 'ITEM ON THE REVIEW'They will replace for me??????

One of the best for the money
First off, for the reviews about it not having the keyboard, it states in the listing that it does not come with one.I bought my keyboard case from Acer for 89.00 and it works great.Next, the unit is made of all aluminum and feels premium. The glass and LCD screen are also bonded, what does that mean? It means you will not get dust trapped between the glass and LCD. There is no air gap for dust to get into. This unit does not freeze or hiccup at all, in the 30 days I've owned this, it has not rebooted or slowed down at all.If you need more space, update to windows 8.1 then go to disk clean up, advanced options and delete windows.old file (this file is just install files form windows 8.0) and are no longer needed. This gave me 25gb of free space. Is this the best, fastest tablet out there? No, but it sure feels like it. It a full PC and was worth my 399.99. I would absolutely buy this again.
