Alarm Bell, 6", 120 VAC, Security Bell 120 Volt AC

So I may be one of the only people using this item in the way I am. But I wanted to share in case others have the issue lol.My house is in the middle of a field. Not too far from my house is a large roost of black vultures. Black vultures are obnoxious, can be dangerous to animals (unlike Turkey vultures who only eat dead animals), and can tear up roofs. I guess all vultures can damage roofs and be obnoxious but whatever.Black vultures are federally protected. The best way to get rid of them is to “annoy” them. So after a while of them landing on my roof and causing issues I thought about it a bit. Propane cannon would be great but expensive. Fireworks aren’t regular enough.I decided to try putting an alarm in my attic to go off every so often. Usually loud noises scare them off the roof.So I bought this, a 2 prong ac cord, and a timer for my outlet. I connected it all and set my timer to turn this alarm on every hour during daylight hours.It has worked. I’ve double checked with others around my house and they hardly see them now if at all. Sadly these other neighbors had to get metal roofs due to these buzzards ruining their shingle one.When I’m home I do hear it but in the house it isn’t very loud. I can easily hear the tv over it and can sleep through it. Cheap, easy way to “annoy” birds off my roof!!

Used as part of a DIY motion activated alarm system to keep trespassers away. Works very well, very simple to wire in and is very loud!

The media could not be loaded. Bell seems to be good quality. Have had it installed for a couple days. I'm using the bell as a "school recess" bell for my kids. They're back to hybrid learning so on the days they're home they go to the park. I ring this to let them know it's time to come back to Zoom! So far so good. I'll update this review if anything changes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is , I wish it was the correct size to mount to a standard metal electrical box or had more room for wiring behind it being mounted on a flat surface.

Works well, seems to be well and heavily built.

Otherwise worked well. If you want a loud bell this is not what you want. I installed this "bell" in a closet wall and could not hear it anywhere outside. However it vibrates against the wall and you can hear it inside just fine.

The media could not be loaded. My grandson is a heavy sleeper. I wake up to his alarm with 2 closed doors between us. When we go out of town, he has to get himself up. I bought this hooked a cord to it, Put it in a Gosund plug that works with Alexa. When he has to get up, he tells Alexa "Turn on "Chris Wakeup" at what ever time he needs up. It works"
