I was disappointed with the thickness of the sock. Many reviewer mentioned this, but having used gold toe in the past I thought they were wrong. It's my own fault for not listen to the reviewers. I'm not going to return them because I purchased a whole lot of them and that wouldn't be fair to the amazon return department.

Thinner than expected. More shrinkage than I expected after laundering. They are just barely wearable. I was not a fan of gold toe before, but these had great reviews and the description sounded like just what I was looking for in a sock.

These socks are just bad. They do not stay up. I have what I believe to be normal legs and regular feet, men's shoe size 9-and-a-half. All of my other socks stay up. I slip these socks over my feet and toes like every other pair of socks I own—like lots of other pairs of Gold Toes that I own—and as soon as I stand up and take a step or two, they fall right down to my ankles. Every pair. Every time. They bunch up around my toes. They're the most annoying socks I've ever owned. They're not thick or comfy, which is ok; I didn't expect thick or comfy based on the product description and on other reviews. But a standard function of socks is to STAY UP. These do not. Bad socks.

Great socks for casual to formal. Light weight fabric is good for the tropics. Color selection in this bundle is perfect for me. Fit is perfect for size 10-10.5 US men shoe size. Can't go wrong with Gold Toe. I've been disappointed by sooooo many sock purchases in the past several years that this was actually exciting.

What's happened to Gold Toe? I used to wear them years ago, and never had any problems. I bought some at the local box store, and they wore out quickly. I saw these, and since they were thicker, I decided to try them, thinking they would last longer. I was wrong.Even though they are thicker, they still wear out fast. I only have one pair left without holes in them.All the rest are "holy" socks, so I only wear them to church. :-)

i was looking for socks to go with my boots. i didn't realize how thin these socks were, they fit more like a dress sock. these socks did not work for my application. slid around in my boot too much, and were too tight at the toes so squeezed my toes together and they rubbed. i ended up with blisters from the sliding and rubbing. i like the thicker gold toe socks a lot, just not this model. i'd recommend the Harrington's instead of these for boots. if you are wearing these with sneakers or dress shoes, or if you just prefer a thin sock, you might like these.

Bending to put on sox has become a struggle based on numerous problems with back, arms etc.These soft sox which come in many shades slide on very easily and are crew length which makes it less of a stretchI actually wish they were about an inch longer but it's not that important....They are my permanent sox....I. 9 months in after many washes these have shrunk terribly. What was comfortable and right sized for my 10.5 foot are now half that size! And from a Gold Toe? Never had that before-have purchased them for years at Macys but the heavier "fluffies". They are almost unwearable, Would not purchase again.

I've worn and loved Gold-Toe socks for years, so was glad to by this package of 6 in 3 different colours. But after 5 days of wearing one pair, both socks have gaping holes in the bottom. And I've only worn them in normal conditions. They can't be the real thing.

definitely not XL socks for someone who takes size 12-13, too bad because they are a nice dress sock.
