My cats like to hang out in my room at night. If I close the door all they way they'll just claw at it, so I like to keep it cracked open. I was using a dumbbell for a doorstop. I got this item so I won't stub my toe on the dumbbell anymore, also I can move it out of the way with my feet instead of bending down. Works great.

Heavy duty, are you kidding me? Straight out of the box and it just slid across the floor as I put it in front of the entry door to my apartment~~~~several times and at different angles! My door did not even slow down as the door started to close with this HEAVY DUTY DOOR STOP in place. Back in the box it went and sent back to Amazon the very next day. Now I'm looking at cast iron!

He is perfect. The door in my apartment was really high and regular door stops dod not work. This guy was perfect! Only downside is that I have dogs that think he is one of their toys and keep trying to run off with it no matter how we try. So this guy stays in his box.

The door to our son's room sits high off the floor and has a tendency to swing shut on its own. This door stop does the trick and it's soft so I'm not worried about our toddler tripping over/falling on it. It's heavy enough to hold the door but I can still scoot it easily with my foot if my hands are full. Would recommend!

These were a little understaffed (didn't hold square shape) and sounded like a crinkly dog toy. Returning.I have ordered a similar item in the past from a different vendor, it was well stuffed and didn't make noise when moved.
