Can't tell how the TV works
Didn't get a remote, instructions, or a dang power cord. Maybe the picture is fantastic, I dunno. Edit: So I found the remote and instructions taped up in some of the packaging. However, after hooking everything up, talking with Samsung's customer support, emailing the seller (still haven't heard back), and hours of frustration, the TV will not work. Certified piece of craps. One star for packing the TV well.

Loved that they came in and set up the TV ...
Loved that they came in and set up the TV for me, especially since I needed another person to help me lift this huge TV onto my floating shelf above my fireplace. Anyway, if you put this TV into HDR+ in Special Viewing Mode, it is literally just like being in the movie theater. The backlight on this TV makes movie viewing impeccable! I don’t even see a difference between this TV and being in an actual movie theater! Love, Love, LOVE this TV!!! I was using the Samsung 55” KS6500 before this TV, and this 8500 series (850D same thing) is a world apart! Sooo much better!!! I never want to leave my couch again!!!

Samsung at it's Best
Have owned this Samsung UN65KS8500 curved tv, for over 6 years now. Have few lighter spots when booting, but superb picture quality still when on. Bought a 2022 Q80B 75" this week for back living room (have 2), and this 2016 curved model still holds it's own. Plays xBox Series X games great @ 60Hz while Q80B does 120Hz
