Dodge Ram 3500 Rear Wheel Center Cap Hubcap Cover Mopar OEM

One of the wheel centers on my 2017 Ram 3500 with Alcoa wheels either mysteriously feel off or was stolen. I called my local dealer and they wanted$140 for a new one. I bought this one thru Amazon for about $110. The center was a perfect match, identical to the original. I deducted 1 star because $100+ is a ridiculously high price for a few ounces of molded plastic. I know it is the way of American business these days but it is sad that we have allowed this to happen to ourselves.

This Center Cap looked just like the original. Good fit and finish. The price for a formed piece of plastic was in my opinion much too high, but they are even higher from a dealer. Careful placement over the wheel lugs is important or these caps will break. Remove your center caps prior to allowing anyone to work on or replace your wheels, then carefully replace the caps yourself later.

This cap looked great and matches the rest of the caps on the truck. The problem is that they are expensive to replace. This new hub cap only lasted a week before it fell off . From now on I’m not replacing them any more. I’m sick of these cheap pieces of junk. I wish Alcoa would have figured out a better design for the upgraded rims on my Dodge Ram dully.

I am not sure why these will not stay on. It was a good fit, but the 1st time I drove the vehicle the hub cap cover came off. I have replaced this particular one 3 times. I will not be buying another one. This is the 1st one I bought from this company.
