Great Retro Vibes, needs a lot of work to be perfect.
OK! I delayed writing this review for a few weeks, just to give myself some time to let the initial excitement wear off and get to know the board a little better.TLDR: Great colorway and vibe, love the options. Dislike the ping and price.Breakdown - Pros:Looks - 5/5 - I've got to be honest, I really love looking at this keyboard. I mean, it has this classic Nintendo colorway that just sings to my poor little 8 year old heart and reminds me of the days spent playing The Legend of Zelda or Mario 3. I love the Red accents (like the power switch and insert around the USB-C connection). I love the USB dongle under the Durgod Logo. I wish I could find a mouse that matches the off-white of the case. I put some of my 8bitDO SNES controllers in there for colorway comparisons, and my NES mini controller. It looks SOOoo good to me, but I love a good retro aesthetic.Connectivity - 5/5 - No issues at all with the Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz (dongle is hidden under the Durgod logo in a push-down-pop-up slot) or wired.Battery - 5/5 - This thing seems to last forever on a charge. I mean, at least the whole week, I really need to do a more technical test on the battery life, but it's pretty amazing.Software - 4/5 - Zeus Engine supports this pretty well, it's really easy to rebind keys (all except the FN key and FN+Backspace, FN+Q, FN+W, FN+E, FN+R) can be rebound) Macro creation is easy and works fine, you can even bind Launch Program commands and Mouse functions very easily. Only reason it gets 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that it was pretty difficult for me to find how to use the onboard profile when the Zeus engine was closed. The manual says that the FN+Backspace will "Invoke the on-board configuration profile", but this doesn't say that to save a profile to the keyboard you have to be connected with a USB cable and you have to be using the wired connection mode (FN+R), so save profiles to the keyboard. Then, as long as the Zeus engine is running (even in the System Tray) the profile will be active, and hitting FN+Backspace doesn't do anything. Then, when you close the Zeus engine, your profile will not be active till you hit FN+Backspace. This was just a little much to figure out, took a bit of poking and a helpful guy on Reddit to point me in the right direction. So, here's rundown. Launch Zeus, edit profile. Will always be active when Zeus is running. Connect with USB, switch to wired mode (FN+R), choose profile to save to Keyboard. There doesn't seem to be any confirmation or indication that is has loaded, you just pick it (See screenshot) Then, when you close Zeus, you hit FN+Backspace to activate the profile saved in memory. You can create multiple profiles and just assign a FN+combo to switch profiles. This profile will now work in any mode, wired or wireless.Whew, after that, seems more like 3/5 software, but really, it's pretty versatile AFTER you figure out how to activate the profile. Or just leave zeus engine running, if that's your thing.Breakdown - Cons:Sound - 1/5 - This board sounds hollow and pingy when it's stock. If you're not interested in doing some mods, maybe filling it with foam, then you will not really enjoy this that much. That being said, a majority of stock mechanical keyboards sound rough. This gets hollowness from the empty space and plastic case. With nothing to absorb the sound, it just echoes around. The switches are cherry, so they're pretty much the most basic mechanical option available. If they would add some gateron or kailh options, this might be a different story, but it is what it is. I did go super extra, desolder and swap all the switches for lubed ones, foam the board, and tune the stabs, (which are surprisingly good stock, TBH), and at the end, I love it, BUT, that's a ton of work for an expensive board to be OK.Price - 2/5 - Way too expensive for what all still needs to be done., there's loads of bluetooth, hot-swappable, multi function keyboards out there, at much lower prices (I'm looking at your Keychron, Royal Kludge, EPOMAKER, just search "hotswap bluetooth mechanical keyboard" on amazon and you'll see at least 10 for less than 100$). At the end of the day, you're paying for the looks and the time it will take you to fix it yourself.Summary:This is pretty much only for you if you LOVE the look and retro vibes. This isn't a great entry board, IMO, because it needs some serious work to be great. That being said, functionality is great, and looks are 100% amazing.I would probably not recommend it to a friend who just needs a new keyboard, but maybe I'd buy another and mod it for my brother who loves all things 80s retro. 3/5 stock, 5/5 modded, average 4/5.As always, your mileage may vary, seek your own happiness.

Awesome keyboard with some shortcomings.
Absolutely love this board but there are definitely some things you should consider particularly at full retail price. What I like:The keyboard is well built, the housing is mostly plastic, but sturdy. The keys (MX Cherry Brown) feel as they should and the stabilizers are pre-lubed; it's a real pleasure to type on this thing. They keycaps are high quality; thick PBT doubleshot with high great colors. The 2.4GHz works without any noticeable latency. Spacebar has a nice smooth bottom edge that fits really nice. The retro look of the board is on point and will add a nice aesthetic to your set up.What I don't like:Wireless mechanical keyboards are limited. While this board delivers, it's pretty expensive at the $160 price. As others have outlined, you most definitely will notice this board has a loud ping - likely due to the hollow casing. I use 2 o-ring dampeners for each key because I like the feel, and while it does dampen the ping, it is still noticeable. I'm not the biggest fan of the low-profile of the cherry keycaps and personally prefer OEM.Conclusion:It's a great board: switches feel great; battery seems to last for weeks with a single charge; retro look is perfect; wireless and bluetooth. If the ping or price are too much for you, there are some solid alternatives, but not many. Despite really liking the board, I'm knocking off star for the value and ping.

Surprisingly good Bluetooth
I picked this wireless mechanical keyboard over others that were available because of the flexibility in connectivity. I was hesitant to get a Bluetooth wireless keyboard because of previous experience with Bluetooth instability.I initially set up the keyboard with the 2.4ghz dongle and it was as great as I expected. After running it for a week I decided to try Bluetooth connectivity. To my surprise, it works very well. Other than the 2-3 seconds to wake up the keyboard in the morning, it operates without delay. As a bonus, the battery charge is reported in the Windows Bluetooth menu. While I am sure the 2.4ghz or wired options are better for gaming, Bluetooth has worked flawlessly for office use at ~80wpm.When I first purchased a mechanical keyboard giving up wireless connectivity for the extra feedback was completely worth it. Now, with the Durgod Fusion, I can type without compromise.

Save your money and property
Really wanted to like this. Had some nice features and was the only wireless keyboard with cherry switches I could find.Unfortunately, it started smoking when charging it. Luckily I was still in the room to smell it and unplug. The wireless never worked to begin with (neither the USB dongle or BT), so with the charging port caput it was totally useless. Return never processed. Wouldn't be surprised if UPS disposed of it if the battery blew or something. Next time I'll take video for court. Update: return processed after 35 days.Got a Keychron instead. Switches seem about the same and are hot swappable for less money. Plus the frame is metal instead of plastic. Much better quality overall.

I love the retro look
I love the retro look and the keys, I'm just not totally set for the 65% layout, I miss the dedicated tilde key.
