Does not attract ants. They completely ignore the product. Installed in multiple places right next to ant entry and exit locations and along their paths. Not one single ant in, near or on bait pack in 3 days. All walk around it. Waste of good money.

These are our standard in house ant bait I don't kill the ants with spray I put this out and within a day there are less and within 2 gone Have 2 dogs , 1 is a lab that loves to chew stuff (I know , huge surprise) These are relatively dog safe if they get one.

New design is cheap and useless
I have bought the old version of these bait traps many times and they were very effective. Like most products available in the US, the design has changed and, despite the price staying the same or raising, the quality of the product deteriorates. This new design is cheap in all ways. “Remove paper backing of the adhesive”? Nope, impossible without removing the entire adhesive. No instructions on how to use it without the adhesive. Do you just balance it against the wall? Cheap plastic coating that is crushed on all packs. All in all disappointed and will probably try to find a better quality product that actually works as stated. Hopefully the bait still works, assuming my cats don’t use this as a batting toy.
