Shipped in a well-engineered double box, with quality foam inserts. I thought again about the price point of this tooling. And I started to think that a mistake had been made. But re-reading the add I realized that this was the correct piece and really a (currently), "Underpriced" gem! (At $45)! The locating surfaces were, "I believe", (Finish ground) before a hard anodized surface was applied. Resulting in a very true, "And VERY flat" surface with which to work. I admired each part as I initially unboxed this beautiful piece! No directions, But I did not need any. And the few minutes it took me to fully assemble, allowed me to acquaint myself with this Mitre-Tool. This design was very well thought out. And it has several features which others, "Some costing more than three times as much" didn't think to add. Features that will be used to. And NOT, "Gimmicks"!No cheap, thin or flimsy materials were used here. Everything fits and works as it should. And simply it's heft is substantial. And it was easily adjusted for movements which reminded this one of my old "Swiss Micrometer sets"! This, in the perfect and easy way that "all" the parts of this worked in concert together!The radial gauge has easily read, and very "Deep" engraving. Which "Glides" through its scope of indexing. And they included a "Brass Knurled" nut for the locking of standard angle sets. And also, a very large (and hence), very easy to use "manual adjusting", "Knurled aluminum lock" for angles not so common. And as needed. This really is a "Class A - Journeyman", (Machinist Grade Tool)"!I could go on and on about this as an old "Tool & Die" making fellow. But I'll simply finish with this...You will be very happy with this purchase. And you would have at "Double" it's current price point too! "Period"! Good Luck! Don B. Astupid

Zero instructions. The horrible printout you get with it is impossible to use as a reference for putting it together. Use the pictures on Amazon to figure out what goes where.Very nice quality parts. This really is a nice unit overall for what you pay. It feels good in the hand, looks good on the table and fit my newer model Skil just fine. The built in material stop slides easily and locks down tight.My unit is flawed. See the pictures. While the miter is accurate horizontally to the blade and my fence, vertically it is off. This creates a serious issue when cutting a board vertically at angle making it unusable for creating box joints which is what I wanted it for. I see no way to tweak the adjustment other than getting creative and using some sort of shim under the block that holds it in place.I am considering returning it at this point.

Easy to put together, adjust, and store when not in use. This is a perfect medium-duty miter gauge. When adjusted correctly it can produce dependably accurate cuts with your tablesaw. The stop block is easy to use and offers high-quality, accurate multiple-cuts. Perfect for the beginner and seasoned woodworker alike.

I had been looking at miter gauges for my table saw for some time, and was nearly convinced that I needed one of these $200 units. I came across this Vevor unit for $40, read the reviews and thought I would take a chance on it. It does not include all the bells and whistles, but is well made from quality materials and lines up dead accurate with my saw blade. The rail fits my table slots with zero motion. The long work fence is easily adjusted by means of an included Allen wrench for right or left hand use and includes a very easily adjustable flip stop for cutting repetitive lengths. The protractor includes pre drilled holes for all the common angles. There is the slightest amount of play, but if you press gently in the ccw direction as you tighten the locating pin and lock screw, it comes out perfect. I have checked it against a precision protractor, accurate to 15 seconds of angle (1/240 of a degree) and it was right on.

This miter gauge seemed really nice for the price, It showed up today.Parts were really made nice but unfortunately for me and probably manyothers. The two holes on the end of the miter where the buttonsthat ride in the miter slot on the table saw bar go were off from dead center about1/64". Because of that the miter gage does not run smoothly in my slot and it evenbinds up a little. I removed the front button that slides in the miter slot on my saw thinkingthat may help but it did not. There is no fix for this problem. I have a nice Powermatic saw and have not had an issue with anyother miters gages I use. I have just boxed it back up for a return. So a couple of hours wasted from assembling and disassembling and dealing with the return....Not a happy camper.

The build quality and finish of this is very nice, however, there are two issues. First, the guide wheels fit so tightly in the T Slot on my Rigid table saw that it will not glide freely. Second, the guide wheels are attached using a small screw which comes lose as you move the miter back and forth in the T Slot.
