STK's Sony NP-FM500H BC-VM10 Battery ChargerWe purchased an Alpha Series camera package deal that came with an extra lens and other accessories, such as the battery charger. Over the Christmas holidays, we lost the battery charger somewhere. We looked for a replacement locally and online. Went to Best Buy and paid $50 for one the salesperson assured us was correct for the camera. Got it home and it was the incorrect size. Then went through a big hassle trying to return it to the store. Tried many other stores but no one had it in stock, only through their website. I was hesitant to order online and then if it wasn't right, have to deal with returns and trying to get a refund. All the sites, including Sony, were charging about $65 plus shipping for a charger. I found this seller on Amazon.com and I was unsure because it was not Sony brand, but, the description was exactly what we needed and the price was great. I figured I would give it a chance and am glad I did! Placed the order and received the item quickly. It is an exact fit to the battery type and works great. No complaints. We are thrilled. Cost us a fraction of the price and no problems at all.

Dummy me!!! I left my old charger at a hotel room and didn't realize it till I got home.When I got this new one, I was a little scared because I read somewhere that the charger bursted into flames while it was plugged in the wall outlet. So I used it to charge my batteries in the garage on a concrete floor. I ran it for a couple of hours and grabbed it with my hand to feel the temperature. Turns out my fears were unfounded.The charger works great!!! I bought 2 more batteries and charged everything up and works as it's supposed to. Now I'm ready to shoot pictures once again.

I could not find my original charger for the life of me, so I read the reviews and decided to purchase this one. It worked great! Charged all of my batteries. As it turns out, I found my original charger, so now I can charge 2 batteries at the same time!! I'm totally happy with my purchase!

This work great I left my original charger and batter at a motel and needed a replacement. Works as good as the original Sony charger. Unlike the Sony original charger that is one piece, this one is more of a universal charger that has an insert to adapt to a given battery. Sometimes when you remove the battery, the insert come out along with the battery and you have to snap it back in the charger. It works fine and was a good price. Woks fine charging both the original Sony batter as well as the battery that comes with it. The charger is great, the battery that comes with it not so much.

This charger works great with my batteries for my sony alpha cameras. Its nice and compact and has the added feature that it can charge in vehicles using a 12 volt adapter, which is handy when shooting away from home. I acquired 2 units so I can keep one in my car and use the sony charger for home use.

Product works very well with battery for my Sony A77 camera. Sony charger that came with the camera stopped working after only 3 months. Employee in Sony store said that the company would not replace it since 3 months had gone by. For the price, I'm very happy with it. We'll see how long it lasts

Well, it wasn't horribly expensive, arrived on schedule, and does what it is advertised as doing. It fits in my tiny camera bag.Hey, it's a charger for a camera battery. It charges my battery camera. There isn't really any way it could be much better.
