Made the mistake of buying a KVM for my PC and work laptop without checking the type of connections required. Turns out everything on KVM was HDMI and I only had one on my PC (needed 2 and only had DP connections left). So ordered this simple little adapter DP to HDMI and all works fine. Cautionary tale...if you want something a little fancy like a KVM check what leads are required by the KVM and any PCs, laptops etc

I purchased this DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter to run 4K at high refresh rates from an NVIDIA GPU to a 4K 144Hz TV. Unfortunately, the adapter was unstable in real-world use. Even at 4K 60Hz, I experienced frequent black screen flickering and signal dropouts during gaming. At higher refresh rates (100Hz–120Hz), the flickering became worse. The adapter also became noticeably warm during use, which may indicate the chipset is struggling under sustained bandwidth. I tested: • Multiple HDMI cables (including certified 4K 120Hz cables) • Different refresh rates (60Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz) • HDR on and off • VRR on and off The issue persisted. Switching to a different brand DP → HDMI adapter resolved the flickering immediately under the same conditions, which suggests this unit was the problem rather than my GPU or display. This may work for basic 4K 60Hz desktop use, but for gaming at high refresh rates it was not stable in my setup.

Très bon petit adaptateur BENFEI DisplayPort vers HDMI. Je l’utilise pour connecter un écran HDMI à une sortie DisplayPort et il remplit parfaitement son rôle. L’installation est immédiate : on branche, et ça fonctionne sans configuration particulière. L’image est stable et la qualité est conforme à ce qui est annoncé, avec une prise en charge jusqu’en 4K à 30 Hz. La finition est correcte et l’adaptateur paraît suffisamment solide pour une utilisation quotidienne. Un produit simple mais efficace, avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Si vous avez besoin de convertir une sortie DisplayPort vers HDMI sans vous compliquer la vie, je le recommande.
