This hat would be perfect for the beach. I have trouble finding hats that will fit my small head, so i was really excited that this hat comes in a smaller size. I actually bought this hat to wear in a race because I am running in a really hot and sunny country. I think that it will be great because it fits well enough that there is very little bounce. Cons: The hat is a little rigid and you definitely have to make sure it doesn't get smashed in your bag or it would break. The top of mine got broken a little bit in transit, but I'm just going to stick some glue on it and hope it stays together. This is a one-trip-use hat. I couldn't see it lasting more than one season without breaking.

This is my favorite hat to wear outside in the sun! I liked it so much that I got one for my mom too and she loves hers as well. The striped print that lines the hat is colorful and cute. The hat has a wide brim and I feel like that keeps my face out of the sun well. My grandmother even borrowed the hat and wore it to the amusement park this summer. Great hat!

I bought this hat for field work in the high desert. I have only worn it for about two weeks so I cannot speak to its durability, but so far I really like it. I am petite so it fits my head well. I like that the rim curves down slightly and seems to provide more shade than a previous straight brimmed hat I had. I also work in windy conditions and as long as the drawstring is tight, I don't have to worry about the wind catching it and constantly blowing it off my head. I do worry about durability over time and think I will have to be careful with it, but it is reasonably priced so having to buy a replacement would not be a big issue. I hope it lasts at least the summer if not longer.

This straw hat is the perfect size and fit, offering excellent sun coverage. I love the style and get lots of compliments whenever I wear it. However, this is my second one because the hat tends to break easily. While it's great in terms of design and functionality, it’s a bit delicate.

Love this hat. It shades so much. Didn’t realize how different it would be from a baseball cap. Seems cooler than a fabric hat. It did have some very small imperfections but they appear to be standard straw hat little places.

When I first bought this hat I loved it. It proved to be very fragile, it can't withstand any bends or rough treatment you intentionally or unintentionally apply to it. And the sun protection, unfortunately, is not good at all. I ended up getting a sunburn on my scalp in the exact pattern of the weave on my heat, so I pitched it out. If you are looking for sun protection, go with solid material not this. It looks very cool but doesn't protect you much.

They put it in a box to ship it obviously, but the box wasn't wide enough. So by folding the brim they broke the straw and compromised it. Now it's really frayed where that happened and spreading (breaking more straw threads). Nothing wrong with the product initially, just the genius that shipped it. What can you do. Still 5 star on the hat itself.

El sombrero es muy bonito. El diseño es hermoso, pero el material es sumamente frágil. Llegó en caja, pero sin protección. En cuanto lo abrí, noté que estaba roto de la parte de arriba.
