Stretchrite 1-1/2-Inch by 25-Yard White Sport Knit Elastic Spool

I am not very happy with this elastic. Overall it is not what I'm used to when I was buying similar 1.25" sports elastic by the yard from fabric.com or in small quantities by Dritz from Walmart or Joann'sWhat I'm disappointed in:-Overall consistency is not there. There are random ripples, its not straight, its just cheaply made.-Strong odor. It has a deep unpleasant rubber smell to it. I'm not happy about that either.-Worst of all: It's dirty off the roll! Gross. I've had to throw pieces out, as its dirty, on both sides. This is inexcusable.-Cost: At the price I paid for this, it was over a $1/yard. The quality and value is not there. Overpriced junk. I was purchasing a far superior product from fabric.com for a fraction of the price, but its been on back order for quite some time now and I needed more. This stuff was a mistake.-The stretch isn't as good as dritz or others I have previously used. Disappointed in that too...Overall if I hadn't already cut a few pieces before noticing how poorly made this was, I would have returned it. I didn't notice the dirt until about a yard or so in after I had made cuts. I do not recommend this product and I will not be purchasing it again in the future.

I bought this for making several pairs of boxer shorts. It is great value and does what elastic is supposed to do but it is not as soft as I would have hoped for when using it exposed . Its stiff and not at all like the "brushed" elastic you'd get in boxer shorts off the shelf. But hey, it works.

This is not the elastic I received. Mine did not come on a spool so I have 24 yards of elastic bunched up on a shelf after I used the yard I needed for my project. The elastic I received will work for me but I like the lines on the pictured elastic to use as a sewing guide

This is a truly great product. Most of the elastics sold as pajama and sportswear are stiff and uncomfortable. This product is soft and pliable; very important. The major sewing & fabric retailer that sells elastic labeled for pajama or sportswear only carries one brand and their elastic is not nearly as high quality as this product. Will always try look to Amazon for elastic and sewing notions that are higher quality. Hope they decide to carry more sewing & notion products!

Bought this sometime back, and am planning on buying my second roll next month. This is a quality product and durable. Some of my pull-on pants are over 3 years old and elastic is still holding up fine. Does not seem to shrink as much as some other elastics I have used. Also, much more economical than buying by the yard in stores. Also, very handy having a supply on hand. I would highly recommend to any home sewer or craft project person.

Really nice quality, soft but firm enough for waistbands. Buying the large roll will save money in the long run, I use a lot and I hate having to make a special trip. Some skirts in stores now just have plain elastic showing for waists, this isn't quite as wide but for children I think it is actually a better ratio.

You want that stretch? You got that stretch. You want it RITE? You got that rite. Stretching is the rite of all sentient beings. I could rite all day about this elastic spool. When you're talking about elastic, might really does make rite. If this spool was a car on the road, I'd give it the rite of way. Ritey tighty, lefty loosey. Civil rites.

This product works very well. I use in in the boxers I make for my son and nephews. They have no complaints
