I love to cook and eat healthy, so I'm always looking for new kitchen gadgets to help me make delicious and nutritious meals. The Vitamix A3300 Ascent Series Smart Blender has been a game-changer for me. It's so powerful that it can blend anything I throw at it, from frozen fruits to raw vegetables to whole grains. We lived for years with a pretty basic Ninja blender, so this Vitamix is light years beyond what we had before. I've been using it to make smoothies, soups, sauces, and even nut butters. It's so easy to use, and the cleanup is a breeze. The blender is also very stylish, and it looks great on my countertop. I highly recommend this blender to anyone who wants to make healthy and delicious meals at home. One of the limitations is the noise level is pretty high, so don't make a decision to buy this one because it's supposedly "quieter" than the next blender series that's cheaper. Another con is that you need to use the app to use this blender efficiently. The app recipes are great, but when my kids want to make a smoothie, I have to take a break from work and lend them the app on my phone just to do something as simple as this. You also have to make sure the Vitamix container (pitcher) is on the base before you can look at a recipe in the app. Overall, I think the Vitamix A3300 Ascent Series Smart Blender is an excellent addition to your kitchen arsenal even with the limitations of the app.

We have a Kitchenaid food processor that has been running like a champ for 15 years, and I really didn't think that we needed a blender, but we got on the smoothie and juicing bandwagon and cleaning the food processor was too much work every day. We tried a slow juicer and it was a HUGE pain to clean and constantly clogged. Finally, I decided to blow the Christmas budget on this during Prime Day and am thrilled with the outcome. THIS THING IS A BEAST! Not only is it clearly made very well and is going to last a long time, but it will blend ANYTHING that you put in it. I think that I could drop a bunch of nails in there and it would turn them to fine steel powder. This turns a package of celery into a liquid mass in a minute, and then cleans up by simply dumping soapy water in when you are done. Squeeze your celery mass through some good straining bags and you have your juice faster than you could set up your slow juicer. I am glad that I also added the small cups for smoothies and sauces - the container that comes with this is too big for reasonable quantities of sauce or smoothies. I don't use the programming, mostly because this thing is so fast. With time we'll probably try some of the fancier recipes, but for daily smoothies and juicing, just hit go on high speed for 30-60 seconds and you are done. FWIW, the smoothie/juicing diet took off 15 pandemic pounds in 6 weeks, so consider the purchase a weight loss plan and you won't feel so bad about the price.

I have had the A3300 for about 6 months now and have been entirely pleased with the performance. I primarily use it for daily smoothies and have yet to find an ingredient that it won't blend to a perfectly smooth consistency- grains, seeds, greens, fruit peels, all blend in nicely. I also bought the 20oz and 8oz cups and have found that for smaller amounts or emulsifications (vinaigrettes or other salad dressings, etc) the smaller containers work much better- the large pitcher tends to splash around small amounts of liquid ingredients or oils. That said, for smoothies, soups, etc, I wouldn't want the pitcher any smaller, so for my uses buying multiple size containers was a must. The pitcher cleans up well by running it about half full of water with some dish soap, but make sure to snap the lid on tight- I often think I have the lid on completely only to end up with a counter full of soapy water. My one, very minor suggestion for improvement would be to have the volume measurements on the pitcher in red, black, or some other color. Aesthetically, it looks nice to have a completely clear pitcher, when it is full or in use, the markings are very difficult to read. Overall, I have been completely happy with this blender and would buy it again.

I am very happy with this blender. It is certainly very powerful. I've taken off a star mostly due to its value. I don't mind paying a few hundred dollars for a good-quality appliance but I do start to have pretty high expectations. This blender has been able to take whatever I've put it in. So far I've made vegan cheese dip, avocado crema, soup, and, of course, a wide variety of smoothies ranging from individual size to 'family' size. It blends everything extremely well - far better than my 2010 Ninja system did. I like that this model has a pulse button handy for chopping (some older Vitamix models do not). However, I am dissatisfied with some of the finer points of the blender: 1. There isn't a pour spout so you have to remove the lid completely to pour out the contents. I liked the thoughtfulness of the pour-spout that was built into my large Ninja pitchers. 2. Comes with zero accessories beyond the singe 64oz blender pitcher and additionally accessories are also pricey. The 64oz blender is great for larger batches of things but it definitely isn't ideal for smaller individual-sized batches. I can still run an individual sized smoothie in the 64oz blender, but it doesn't seem to do quite as nice a job as with larger batches. I have had a few failures with smaller batches of side dishes because there just wasn't enough in the pitcher for it to blend well (most of the ingredients got stuck under the blades). Obviously, this 'problem' would be corrected by purchasing a smaller pitcher or individual smoothie blender cup but, again, it's simply that these accessories are separate and expensive. 3. Cannot remove the blades to clean. Admittedly, this aspect no longer bothers me as I find that soaking or rinsing the blender then running it with a bit of dish detergent and warm water does a good job of cleaning the blender. However, blade removal was something I wished for initially, though. 4. Plastic cover of base looks ok but sorta cheap. 5. A bit tall when the pitcher is on the base. Will not fit under some cabinets, including mine. I got around this by placing it somewhere without cabinets. 6. Dislike when I have to use the tamper to pop air bubbles or push ingredients down towards the blades. Artifact of being accustomed to the Ninja system that had blades all the way up the middle of the pitcher. Pros: 1. Easy to clean and take care of 2. Love the 10 year warranty on this particular model 3. Blends smoothies beautifully. No 'bits' left. 4. Controls are easy (though I haven't yet taken the time to learn how to use the timer feature) 5. Modern styling is sophisticated and looks nice, which is good for me as I leave mine sitting out on the counter. Still, this particular model is housed in a plastic base covering that isn't the most impressive quality material. 6. Sturdy base. Overall, if you can afford this machine and the additional accessories you may want or need then I'd recommend it. I certainly haven't achieved the same blending quality with other, less expensive machines that I have tried (even with my beloved Ninja system). However, you're compromising value for performance, in my opinion. I think it just depends on your financial health and priorities. I use my blender basically daily so it was a good investment for me, particularly with the 10 year warranty. In time, I will add accessories to help me with smaller tasks/batches, which will alleviate some of my personal gripes. If you have trouble swallowing the price-point of the Vitamix and aren't picky about texture and don't mind a few bits in your smoothie then something like the Nina Systems will be a better option value-wise. I don't regret my purchase but I do lament the lack of included accessories and the cost of adding those to my Vitamix system.

I haven't used many blenders but got into smoothies for breakfast about a year ago. I was using an older blender for a while and I finally bit the bullet and got the $60 nutri bullet with a bunch of blender cups thinking it would blend nice smoothies and I could take the blender cups on the go in the morning. I ended up returning that due to leaks and poor blending on some items and after the frustration I figured I would try a vitamix. I LOVE THIS BLENDER. I now blend large batches of smoothies and store the blender container top in the fridge for a few days so my husband and I can pour smoothies whenever we choose. The cap is nice and airtight. The blender itself handles everything very well. Blending kale into oblivion and even does well on frozen coconut which is very difficult to blend. The container is also nice and light which makes it easy to fill with water and dishsoap for the "self cleaning" cycle when you need to clean it. Very happy with this so far! I chose this over some of the older models since I feel vitamix is investing in these ascent models as far as accessories and wanted to have the option to branch out. Can't wait to make a roasted veggie soup in the fall!

Esta licuadora me llego el 23 de Mayo y para el 23 de Julio me fallo por primera vez. La licuadora ya me ha fallado mas de 4 veces en total cada vez que falla se consume mas (los engranes donde genera el torque para girar). Hoy justamente me volvio a fallar y no me ha permitido usarla de nuevo. (No quiere girar) Llevo intentando aplicar la garantia de Vitamix de 10 AÑOS! y la conclusion que compartio el equipo de calidad de vitamix es que mi licuadora APLICA PARA UN CAMBIO DE UN PRODUCTO NUEVO POR GARANTIA pero LA GARANTIA NO SE PUEDE APLICAR PORQUE AMAZON LAS COMPRO EN EEUU Y LAS ESTA REVENDIENDO EN MEXICO. Si estan pensando en comprar este producto evitenlo desde Amazon y comprenlo con otro distribuidor, los productos vendidos de Amazon de Vitamix no pueden aplicar la garantia. Yo ya no puedo devolver este producto porque desde la primera falla ya habia terminado mi periodo de devolucion. Para quien pueda llegar a pensar que no estoy agregando el agua suficiente o no estoy utilizando el orden correcto de lo que quiero licuar, esto no aplica porque pareciera ser que realmente esta maquina si tiene un defecto desde fabrica

I use this on average twice a day. Best soups ever. Grates cheese and makes fantastic peanut butter and ice cream. It will puree anything. You do need the scraper though, and have to go directly to vitamix for it.
