Worth the money.
I bought these because I've seen this type of tool used by many mechanics on YouTube. I am not a professional mechanic so I'll only need them occasionally and therefore as long as they can grab something like a 1/2" hose and pull it off a metal engine tube I'm satisfied . I don't care if they are not the highest quality. They seem adequate upon examination.NEXT DAY: used them while working on my gate and I must say that I wish I'd bought a pair of these years ago. I used them to push on pin clips that hole my gate actuator in place and they made it easier and cleaner. They are a bit stiff, but that should go away with use. Raising my rating to five😁

Works better than regular pliers for getting boots off spark plugs
Saved me a trip to a mechanic and did not damage spark plug boots. Had to pull very hard but it did eventually remove wires from spark plugs, would recommend for older cars,

Just the ticket for difficult plug wires!
These plug wire pliers were exactly what I needed when replacing the plugs in my wife's SUV. The plugs in that vehicle need to be replaced from below, by going in through the wheel wells after removing the tire/wheel assemblies. And they're extra difficult to access, because each is is shielded by a sheet metal shroud. Not to mention, the steering shaft needs to be detached from the rack and pulled up out of the way to get to the center plug on the driver's side (V6). I ruined two wires trying to pull them off the plugs the last time I changed the plugs in that thing. Hence, my acquisition of this little gem. It did the trick, and I was able to replace all of the plugs without damaging the wires while removing them. Two thumbs up!The tool's materials and finish appear to be good quality, so I'm confident that it will last indefinitely. I did need to apply a little WD40 to it initially and work it open/closed several times to achieve smooth and easy operation, but not a big deal.

Gets the Job Done, But Rusts Too Quickly
These long needle nose pliers work well for precision tasks and feel solid in the hand. The grip is comfortable and they’re great for getting into tight spots. However, they started showing signs of rust after just a short period of use, even with minimal exposure to moisture. If you’re using them in dry conditions, they’ll probably hold up fine—but for anything else, be prepared to wipe them down constantly or store them in a dry box.
