Saves my dexcom during the summer; swimming and beach trips. The overpatches dont always hold it down. I use the extra protection. Great quality, adjusts well. The band that goes around your arm is very comfortable.

Its just a nylon band with a plastic bit that sits over your Dexcom CGM. The nylon strap can be adjusted from either side, which helps if your switch from one arm and the other. You just have to be careful that you line the Velcro up so it it doesn't overhand the side and itch your arm. Because the plastic bit pressing down on the sticker, it stops the sticker from peeling up over time. I would say I wear this 50% of the time, don't keep it very tight, and even after extending once, my CGM's sticker is still perfectly stuck to my arm. This is better than getting those additional stickers that go over the CGM. The company that makes this also makes versions for other CGM's besides Dexcom. I'm glad I got it.

I love everything from this company, it's the only brand that I buy. This is a great product, definitely does it's job. I just wish the band was a little wider.

I really love this product! I always had an issue with the tape on my Dexcom coming loose before the Dexcom expired. I even tried using other tape products to keep it on but they kept coming loose, especially after showering. This works great. I take it off to shower and put it back on once the tape on the Dexcom is dry. So far, it has kept my dexcom on for the entirety of it's use. I'm very satisfied with this product!! Would definitely buy again and recommend it to my friends who are diabetic!

When I put it on my daughter it seemed too big or something. She has a dexcom G6. But yet there was space and it didn't fit snug.

I’ve developed an allergy to adhesive dexcom patches that fries my skin and leaves decorative itchy red oozy patches behind. I used to just endure it, but the more I did the worse it got and I couldn’t just tough it out anymore. Got a freedom band, same price as 20 of the other patches, and I wear it all the time since. Ive used one for six months now. It’s sturdy, effective, and generally gentle. Sometimes the velcro can scratch me or if the dexcom peels up too much I start getting calluses where the plastic of the freedom band rubs against my skin, but it’s nothing compared to what I had to put up with before. I can even sleep in it. It’s not the most discreet design, I wish there was a white skin color option. When I dress up and my dexcom is too far gone to risk taking off the freedom band it puts a damper on the outfit. But it solves the problem I need it to.

Not very practical. Besides adhesives have become a lot better and really was not needed anymore.

This is very useful! Kept it in place even from overstretching!! Just wish then made one now for the G7

We use this product for our son with T1D to help protect his Dexcom during high-intensity sports like lacrosse—and it works great. It stays in place and gives us peace of mind during games and practices. We do wish there were more sizing options for children who are extremely lean, as the bands tend to run a bit large. Otherwise, it’s been a fantastic solution.

Been using this whenever I go to bed or when I go swimming. It makes sure the sensor stays tight to my body and I haven't had any issues with the adhesive failing since I started using it! I highly recommend it to anyone who bumps their sensor or rolls in their sleep like I do.
