Beautiful, very well made but, not big enough to cook a box of pasta.

As an older cook, I needed to find a pan with a locking lid/strainer as I can no longer hold a pan one-handed while juggling the lid and pot holders to strain off liquid. I was hesitant that this pan wouldn’t be large enough and I was worried about using an electric beater with it but it’s turned out to be perfect for my needs. It’s large enough to handle a whole box of pasta and so far, with careful use, I’ve been able to use my electric mixer to mash potatoes with no scratching or knicking the interior. It cleans up easily and I’m really happy that I went with the 4-qt size rather than the larger size the company makes. It stores so much easier and the locking lid/heat-resistant handles are a huge plus for me. Exactly what I was looking for in a specialty pot.

This will hold a pound of pasta and allow easy cooking and draining. It has the further advantage of working on my induction burner which is the fasted way to bring water to a boil. Spaghetti will stick up the side for a while but it eventually gets cooked al dente also.
