These do exactly what we needed them to do. They keep the dog (and us) from slipping on the new laminate staircase. We like that we did not need adhesive to stick them to the stairs. As you can see, they are neither pretty nor ugly, just grey stair treads. They were folded in the box, but laid flat upon placing on the stairs. I did clean the stairs before installation. They do not slide. Sometimes you read the reviews and it seems people received completely different products. They are either the best or worst thing they ever bought. These are just what we needed for the right price.

I had had a set of thin plasticy stair treads which had a brown, felt like patterned surface before. They worked, but caught dirt and especially hair and were impossible to clean, and got gross quickly. And we don't even wear shoes in the house!We tossed those, but after a person in my household slipped and fell in socks, I needed to make sure that wouldn't happen again. These were perfect - they're a soft rubbery bottom with a neoprene fabric kind of material on top that's easy to wipe, vaccum or frankly just shake off hair from. I wasn't sure about the pattern at first but it's grown on me, and now I appreciate the visual cue for each stair as well. They do move back along the stair over time but I find it easy to slide them back every once in awhile, and so far am quite pleased. Our toddler has a nice grippy surface to walk on and no one has slipped since. Would recommend.

These were a quick fix and have been a life saver for my older dog that is still using our long flight of steps. They stay in place pretty well when our two 50 pound dogs use the stairs. They do move slightly at times from the dogs but they stay in place when the humans use the stairs. They feel good when I go down the stairs myself. That small amount of padding helps a great deal and I have to think it is helping the dogs joints too. My only complaint is they are hard to vacuum. I have 15 steps. I found it is easier to just pull all 15 up and place on my floor downstairs and use my floor vacuum on them. It is time consuming. I wipe down the stairs with a damp cloth and let dry and then place the clean stairs treds back on the steps, I will admit, my 2 dogs do drop many hairs on the steps. If you have no pet hairs, these should stay clean longer and not be much trouble.

Amazing for the price!! My dog is no longer scared of going up the stairs. Before I göt the treads, I had to chase her in the house and carry her half way up to a landing. She would SHAKE while braving the rest of the way on her own for a special treat. As soon as I put them down, she confidently went up the stairs at her normal rate and was so proud of herself! They stay in place, are very easy to install and has NO ADHESIVE. I highly recommend!

I really wanted stair treads so my older dog could get up and down our wood stairs. They looked really nice, fit perfect, were comfy, and stayed in place for the most part (minor movement but I would readjust and it wasn’t a deal breaker for us). The best part was my pup start coming downstairs a lot more often and obviously appreciated them too. Unfortunately, they will not work for us. We have three dogs and their hair stuck all over these and were way too hard to clean off. If we shook them, a lot was still there. Sweeping with a broom and hand vacuum didn’t do much. I even tried a Swiffer wet pad like someone else recommended on here and it was a flop. The only thing that worked was using our Lilly brush to scrape it off each then vacuuming the pile to the side with our hand vac. This is too time consuming to do daily and the hair visibly collected and treads looked super dirt after just a day. I’m sure machine washing works but I need a convenient way to clean them in-between washes during the week. Disappointed because these checked all the other boxes - especially price!

I have a senior dog with arthritis and it helped her a lot with climbing up and down (Especially down) the stairs. Sometimes the pads slipped off but it was barely a problem when the dog was going up or down, it mostly just happened when people went up and down. They are hard to clean though.

Bought this for my old dog for traction. Works very well for him and it has increased his confidence and no more sliding.People like it too, but it will move around a bit when people walk on them (still safe, but you will have to adjust them daily).Makes dark steps easier to see.Exactly what I needed and without adhesive.

Definitely helps older dogs gain grip on hardwood steps (as wobbly bipedal things like toddlin' toddlers). My installation on hickory hardwood required two strips of double-sided carpet tape to ensure the tread remain in place. Moves easily without tape installation. There has been no slippage and it is not a tripping hazard. Wipes clean with a wet cloth. Used on high-traffic stairs, no sign of wear over 60 days.

Estan muy buenos, buena calidad en relacion al costo, pero por el material se ensucian muchisimo y eso los hace impracticos.

SON SIN ADHESIVO mala suerte para mi antes tenia unas que si traian en las escaleras que son de loseta así que después de 2 años ya era justo cambiarlas pero están se ven super resistentes el material es bastante denso y de calidad preciosas solo compré una cinta doble cara para reforzar y que no se muevan mis perros ya suben más confiados al principio se movían ahora ya no y se ven geniales
