I was shopping around specifically for a bundle. I checked pricing on amazon, eBay and Best Buy for 3 months while I saved up. Best Buy was priced at $1,200 for a lens and body. I got my bundle from amazon at $1,279 - this was a great deal. This is going to be a long review because looking at reviews and pictures helped me a lot in making my decisionThe Bundle 4/5The box I received everything in was much larger than expected. I opened it up and was blown away with how many items that were packed in the box. I got a few more extra items then what was listed. I was like a little kid on Christmas Day opening up all the extra items that were thrown into the box. The quality of the items were meh. All the extra items were an off brand, I personally have no issues with that. The price for the bundle was extremely fair.* Power grip - I was impressed! It was a vivitar deluxe power grip. Holds two batteries and extends my shooting time.* External Flash - Nothing fancy, but does help light it up in dark areas. I received Vivitar Advanced DSLR Flash.Yes, all the little items are cheap. Keep in mind, I’m happy that I spent $1,279 for the body, Lens, battery grip, flash, and memory card. I built the same package on other retailers and everything was well over $1,300Sony a7ii 5/5Decisions, decisions, decisions. Right? I purchased the Cannon EOS 7D MKII at the same time. I returned it. There was no comparison to this Sony. I know this camera came out in 2014, DO NOT LET THAT DETOUR YOU. Photo tech doesn't evolve at the same pace as the rest of technology. This is an amazing camera.**update 2 months of use**I still love this camera. I hesitate shooting in low lighting with families because the camera doesn’t do well and I have to make a lot of adjustments with an external flash while shooting in manual. The camera deserves 5 stars for overall value. It takes excellent photos, especially in low light scenarios. I’m knocking off a star because the bundle is not what I had expected. Now I wish I would have just purchased the camera by itself. I thought it would be worth the extra money to get a Sony camera bag. Unfortunately, the bag is a cheap DecoGear brand bag. I’ve already ordered a new replacement bag. The SD card is probably the only thing I will keep. The battery handle is pretty ridiculous. It’s not made by Sony, requires two camera batteries and really adds no value. The two batteries that are included are aftermarket and do not last as long as Sony OEM batteries. The charger isn’t bad and I will probably keep it too. The two tripods have already landed in the trash. Keep the extra $50 and just buy the camera/kit lens combo.

Wonderful Camera. Some of the items in the bundle were questionable. The camera bag did not come with a strap.....like buying a pair of shoes without the shoestrings....I questioned the supplier. They said the picture with the bag and strap was wrong as the bag did not come with the strap......Odd...

They did a bait and switch technique the items I received were not what were shown and were of lower quality and cheaper items. Along with this I also did not receive all the items that it showed it supposed to have come with. They just put what they have at their convenience in the package but item were not accurate at all

Very happy with this camera (I already have an A77), this bundle is very complete and delivery was fast. The camera works very well , most functions are the same as my A77 but AF and anti shake are better. The full frame resolution is also excellent.

At this point the camera is probably a 4 star but the extras are a bit of a joke and hence I'm giving this a 3 star. That might change and I'll edit after using the camera for a month. The only items I'll use are the SD card and extra batteries. The bag is NOT a Sony Bag like the picture indicates it's a cheap low end DecGear and it's quality is worse than the Amazon basic bag. The package was supposed to come with a remote shutter control...MINE DID NOT. That was a disappointment. Perhaps the most frustrating thing was the download of Corel Paintshop Pro2018. The provided serial number is junk...did not work for me.One of the biggest complaints with this camera is battery life. I fully charged the battery and after 100 pictures the battery was more then 2/3 gone. So if you're on a long photo shoot...take 3 batteries with you.So...if you want this camera..and I did...the price is comparable to other online stores for the body and 24-70 kit lens. Do not buy this for the "extras". I admit I got suckered in. Since Amazon/Beach Camera is selling this as a package, that's why I'm rating it. It's a 4 star camera and kit lens with 1 star accessories.

Great buy, not just great, excellent, the best combo available for the a7ii, everything was delivered on time and together, and everything is good made, much better quality than I was expecting, the flash that they sent (and everybody complained about) is an Amazon basics like, but wireless, it's great (not professional) but you can do wonderful things with it if you know what you're doing, the grip is a win, it makes your camera bulky, so much better to hold, and well as a professional photographer, I'd say if you want to buy the a7ii this is the best seller to get it

While this version of a7 is from 2014, that camera is a good beginning for those learning the ropes. I believe my Iphone 15 takes clear, crisper photos and video. That fact you cannot turn the shutter noise off is annoying as well but that could be chalked up to not doing enough research on this model. Overall, quality is just okay.
