Beautiful Pen! Definitely a classy look for women or men! This pen is thin and normally I prefer thicker pens like the Cross Calais, however, this one seems like I’ll be able to hold it. Another great thing is you can use the Schmidt easy flow 900 refills for it and I love the Schmidt ink refills. Would make a great gift.

I love the Parker Jotter and take it everywhere with me. But I wanted something more that could compliment that level of intimacy and personal finesse of thinking that one brings to their own writing sessions, and the Sonnet does just that. When I sit down to collect my thoughts for journaling, short stories, poetic compilations, or whatever writing comes to mind, I want to sit down at a comfortable seat, in a properly lit room, with quiet and time to write, and this pen mirrors that feel and brings it to the writing experience.From the texture of the lacquer, to the solidness of the heft, the silent shifting lock of the twist (not a click, but is very very nice), to the overall balance of the weight, this is a complete and beautiful pen. I especially love the thickness which is perfect IMO. It has a slenderness to it, but not at all slim. It's just that right thickness where you're not muscling to grapple it, but not slim enough where you require effort to grip it. If you're tired of thick pens, but don't prefer slim ones and feel you are looking for that right width, the Parker Sonnet hit it right on the mark if you ask me. There's a resting yet assured ease to holding the Sonnet knowing that this can easily handle those long writing sessions.Beautiful. I really like the Quinkflow ink it comes with, but I put the Schmidt Easyflow 9000 M in it, and It is just right IMO. There's many other inks out there to experiment with, which provides the Sonnet with that versatility shared by the Jotter. I feel complete when it comes to my writing tools, having the Jotter and especially now the Sonnet. Beautiful. I love it.

At first, I thought the pen was too skinny. But the more I wrote with it, the more comfortable I became with it and the better my handwriting looked. After a couple of days with it, I love it and will carry as my EDC pen. The blue and chrome version is very nice and the weight of the pen is perfect for me.

Pen looks and feels amazing. The color, shine, weight, and construction are top notch. Not quite the level of Mont Blanc but for 1/5 the price it gives you a very pleasant feel and writing experience.If it’s in your price range I wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

I've owned Parker pens before. I got tired of using give away pens which were too big around for my hand or just didn't write smoothly. I decided to pay extra for a better pen and I am very pleased! It writes smoothly, feels a little heavier in the hand than the plastic cheapies and therefore makes for a comfortable writing instrument. I purchased one in black with gold trim and black medium ink and a blue one with silver trim and blue ink. I love my new pens! Some of the other pens are too narrow and some way to fat for me to hold...these are just right.

I knocked off one star because the cap has a slight wobble when I lift it out of my pen cup. Everything else about it is perfect. The twist mechanism feels solid. There are no rattles when I write with it. I bought the blue satin version. The chrome and lacquer finishes are excellent.The gift box it comes in is very nice. I don't think it is necessary though. I'm buying a pen, not an expensive watch. Maybe Parker should spend a little less on the box and a little more on making the caps solid.Just the same, Sonnets are my pens of choice. The Cross Century is too thin and the Century ll is a little too thick for for my long-term writing comfort. These Sonnets with their balance, heft, and fine feeling lacquer make for a rewarding writing experience.
