The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Single Origin Continental Espresso Capsules for Caffitaly Brewers, 10-Count Pods

Love these as a replacement for the Starbucks Verismo pods that are no longer being made. I’m not sure why other reviews are saying the pods don’t fit and are getting stuck in their Verismo maker? I’ve not had one get stuck yet and have already went though two full boxes and am about half way through my third box. A great and affordable option for sure (and I love that they have a decaf option) :)

I've had the compatible coffee machine years ago but had put it away due to it being hard to find CBTL Coffee Pods. So after discovering that Amazon sold CBTL Coffee Pods, I unpacked my machine and boy did I taste a big difference between other K-Cup Pods and CBTL Pods!! CBTL Brand coffee allow you to make authentic "Coffee House" tasting Coffee right at home!! Thank you Amazon for selling CBTL Coffee Pods and even connecting me back to the CBTL Website store. This is the best tasting Coffee I've tasted!!

The smoothest and most delicious espresso at home! The only thing is that I need to take a knife and poke a little hole in the bottom for the best performance - sometimes the coffee is so tightly packed that the coffee maker can't penetrate the seal, but it's totally worth it!

Thank Goodness For CBTL pods being still available for the Verismo, they are fair priced, taste good, and available, I think anyway?

Lets get to the brass tacks on this: The coffee is delicious. That's all you need to know regarding the actual item. Its robust, flavorful, the crema that comes out is great. The coffee is 4.5 stars, but I knocked stars off for what we will cover below.Now to the bad - Starbucks is ending support of their Verismo system and pods (Confirmed by multiple stores), which has made it harder and harder to find pods as K-Fee (the company that makes them) appears to be ramping down production on these. You can currently (in the Seattle area) buy them on Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond but, most Starbucks stores in the King County area no longer carry them in store.So I did my research and found out that CBTL pods are "compatible" and work. For $10 I thought I'd give it a try.They don't work as expected. So grab your fork and follow me.....1. Your pulls are inconsistent, they will leak into the catch container, and you may have to try to run the same pod twice. Or they won't pull any fluid at all and your pump will give up trying to give you your sweet nectar...2. Then.... the pods get stuck... Grab that fork and get ready to pry it out of the machine, remember there's hot coffee in there3. Did you run it through more than once to get at least 1 shot? You may now be greeted with grounds in your cup as you finish your beverage, take that last sip gingerlyLook, I'm sure this works great with CBTL's style of machine, but I recommend trying a K-Fee brand in your Verismo. NOT THESE. I needed a quick fix until Amazon brought Verismo pods back in stock, these didn't fill that need.Personally, I will use these 16 pods up (because throwing coffee away is a sin, lol) and then move to Nespresso as they now have a "contract" with Starbucks to make their pods.

OK, I gave this 5 stars because CBTL coffee is really good. But I bought this for use in my Verismo machine and because these espresso pods have two filters the Verismo can barely press the brew out and on time it shut my machine down.... now having said that the CBTL regular coffee pods do work but these pods were just to much for the Verismo. You have been warned. :)

Flavor was excellent. Warning: I bought this based on other reviews that the pod works in the Verismo / K-fee machine. The pod fits but the machine pump labors to pump the water through and the lever/locking mechanism is harder to push down. I cut a pod open and found a hard plastic strainer that the delicate blades and tubes of the machine are trying to push through. I don't recommend these pods for the Versimo machine. Too bad, they taste great.

Great espresso! However, they may be 'somewhat' compatible with the Starbucks Verismo, but not totally! They fit into the slot, you can drop the lever down, brew your espresso, lift up the lever...that's where it stops. The CBTL pod is slightly larger and I had to pry the pod out from the bottom, not fun.Having said that, the product itself is delish...I just won't be able to use the four boxes I purchased as intended.

Excellent coffee and it fits my Verismo machine! This is a great bonus because otherwise I have to buy from Starbucks at an inflated price. Very happy! I will be ordering lots more.

I tried it in my Starbucks espresso machine, and the size fits but the machine struggles push the steam trough it making me think it could damage the machine in long term.And it's a matter of taste, but I like the Starbucks capsule better.
