Aduro Holster Case for iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone 7 Plus (5.5") Combo Shell & Holster Slim Shell Case with Built-in Kickstand + Swivel Belt Clip Holster for Apple iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus ONLY

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased an Aduro holster case for my iPhone 5C three years ago and it has served me well. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 7 Plus so I purchased this case for my 7 Plus. Two things that I'm not happy with, 1) As many reviewers have mentioned before me, the kickstand doesn't work in portrait (vertical) mode. When placed on a flat surface the phone falls over backward (See attached video). I've discussed it with Aduro and they're aware of it and are making a design change for future models. That's great but they're still advertising the 7 Plus case kickstand works in horizontal and vertical angles when it clearly does not. This is what their advertising still says on Amazon: "Shell Case Cover has built in kickstand for hands-free viewing in both horizontal or vertical angles". That's a false statement right there. 2) The sides of the case for my 5C went straight up while the sides for my 7 Plus case angle inward slightly. This has proven slightly uncomfortable to hold the 7 Plus while lying in bed watching movies for an extended time. The sharper angle creates more pressure in a smaller area. Not a huge deal but noteworthy, also, it makes it more difficult to pick up when my 7 Plus is laying flat on a table. So, while Aduro has offered to work things out with me (Refund) I will keep this case until I can find a replacement that works better. The Aduro case for my 5C rated 5 stars while this one rates 3 stars.Other than the above observations, the case seems to be made of the same sturdy material as my last Aduro case, is very streamlined and my phone slides securely in and out of the holster.

This product really needs two reviews -- one for the case and one for the holster. The holster design is really the easiest one to use that I've ever had; I had one just like it for my iPhone 6s. The phone slips in and out easily enough but is held securely. No need to open a flap or root around inside to get to the phone. Five stars for that. The case, though, is another story. As far as protection for the phone goes, it's made of brittle plastic rather than something shock-absorbing and I think that the top and bottom edges and corners don't have enough coverage, As far as durability goes, I agree with the reviewer who said "The super thin piece of plastic above the volume buttons break off from the pressure of sliding the cover on and off." So no stars for that. But I actually found a solution to the problem. I bought a silicone clear case ( Shock Tech iPhone 8 Plus / iPhone 7 Plus Clear Slim Case Flexible Hybrid Thin Soft Gel Absorbing Transparent Silicone TPU Bumper Rubber Back Protective Cover ). And amazingly, it fits the holster, a bit more snugly than the original, perhaps, but it's still easy to get the phone in and out. And the cost of this holster and that clear case is still half of the $40 that Apple wants for a silicone case.UPDATE: The vendor offered to send me a free replacement and so far I've yet to break this one. I think the reason that my first one broke was that I switch to a different case when I go bike riding because this holster with the belt clip doesn't fit in my seat pack. Inserting and removing the phone from the case just needs to be done carefully. If you put it in once and leave it there, I doubt you'll have a problem.I still think this is the easiest holster/case combo to use, and I tried four others before I settled on this one. The phone slips in and out easily but I never get the feeling that it's going to pop out on its own.It's still the one I'm using, so I'll bump it up to four stars.

If you're looking for holster with a belt case - THIS IS THE ONLY ONE TO BUY. There are about 4 or 5 that look about the same but all of the have one huge problem - the case that encloses the phone on sides are very slim which means when you slide your phone in and out of the holster it has friction not on a side edges of the case but on a glass itself. I already had to change my phone once because glass WAS SCRATCHED. The glass of your iPhone will definitely get scratched if your are using any other case. Only Aduro Case has about 2mm additional on edges which makes huge difference and protects your phone glass.I used Aduro case starting with iPhone 5. So used it with 5S, 6 and now using it with 7+. This is the best and for me the only phone case since I have carrying big phone in pockets.

I purchased your item from amazon on July 11, of 2018. I also ordered this item in January of 2018. i really like the product, but there are two persistent problems:1) the clips at the back always break off. They will catch on my seat belt or the arm of a chair and they break2) The grid that guards the buttons always breaks eventually.These problems usually appear about 3-6 months after starting use.These holders do a great job of protecting the phone, but they do not last...but they are very affordable.

I really like this product. It is solid and well made. I like the fact that all the buttons are available in cutouts in the case, I hate it when they're covered by material and hard to press. The case fits perfectly and has excellent grip. It fits in the holster snugly, and I have no fear of the phone slipping out. As one who always uses a holster, I have gone through a few. Most of them broke where the holster clip attaches to the holster by a steel pin through holes. If I catch the holster on a door just right, the clip breaks. This product has more material around that pin than any others I have used, so I expect excellent life out of it.

This product is intended to be attached to a trouser belt loo so that the cell phone, once attached, simply hangs securely to the outside of the body by clipping onto the trouser belt. This item was an intended replacement for a similar product which unfortunately broke. Be a little careful getting in or out of cars as it is easy to trap and break the holster whilst it is attached to the trouser belt.

Brilliant holster. Had one for my iPhone 5, then for my iPhone 6. Now got an iPhone 8 plus. The case holds the phone nicely, and the integral kick-stand is very handy, allowing the phone to stand both horizontal & vertically. The holster sits securely on my belt. It can rotate to any position for comfort (the iPhone 8 plus is a big phone!), and gives immediate access to the phone. I have tried several different products...but this is by far the best.

Excellent product. I used an Amzer on my iPhone 6&7 but they broke within 2 months, this one seems to be way more resilient.
