This is a great tow-hitch lift & extender. It is Super sturdy, stable and well made. It come with tension bolts so you can really secure whatever you are mounting & it won't jiggle or rattle around. It can be used to either raise, lower or double your hitch openings. I use it two ways. First for the tow-hitch cargo carrier on Hubby's lower Tuscon SUV to gain the clearance needed for going up and down driveways. The upper opening is 4" above the original and plenty for raising the carrier high enough to clear even the steepest driveways or rutted wash roads. The 2nd use is on my raised Pathfinder SUV to mount both the cargo carrier and bike rack. The cargo carrier goes in the original opening and the bike rack in the top one. There is just enough space on the carrier under the bike tires to store our camp table, tent & ez-up, about 7". This makes it so much easier when we go camping - we can take our bikes and not have to stuff all the camping gear in the car. The hitch can be flipped so that the additional opening is on the bottom which is great for lifted trucks that need a lower hitch for trailering.
