Handy item, works as described and fair price.

Pros:1) Price for this USB 3 is great2) worked out of the box and remains so.3) Spacing between ports is liberal so easy to add-remove peripherals even with oversize connectors.4) Port count is higher than most of competitionCons:1) I don't like the opposing end power/ connection port design scheme. I like to dress cables to one side. Minor irritation and the product photos do show it, so I won't dock it considering the great value.

Great Purchase

I've been buying PCI cards, etc. taking up valuable space inside the PC.PRO:1. I ran this through a hole in the back of the case and plugged it into a USB 3.0 slot INSIDE the base on a PCI card I'd installed before.2. I just trippled my USB 3.0 capability, for far less the cost of more cards.CON:1. Little expensive for what it is.2. Did not know it used a USB 2.0 slot to power it, I thought it was 110 Volt plug in adapter, so now I lost one USB 2.0 slot. Oh well, the math is still in my favour.OTHER:I could buy three more of these one for each PC in the house, but only if they were a little bit cheaper, you know, for what it is.Peace!

I've simply run out of enough USB ports. When working from home, my laptop is connected to dual monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, headphones & mic. To use the headphones, I had to unplug something else. Now I can plug them all in. No more juggling cords.Plus, being that it's USB 3, I know that I'll have the fast data transfer speed available when I decide to purchase a new laptop.

Only had it for a few days now but it's working nicely so far.Pros:- Long cord, 3.3'- Small footprint- USB 3 for a great priceNo cons that I can think of.

No hassle with plugging into the 3 ports on my laptop. Now I have 2 on the laptop and 7 on the strip.

I have only tested it with 2 usb devices plugged, I haven't test transfer speeds.
