These are really fun! The fabrics is exactly like the shiny skater skirt fabric; definitely not thin, not stiff, nice movement, and smooth finish. I know the shiny will eventually wash off. I haven't found a method to prevent that. The pockets are deep enough to hold a phone, but since the fabric is fairly loose, I wouldn't trust the pockets while I was doing something active like running. I typically wear a Medium, I ordered a Large, and they fit great. I wouldn't want the waist any tighter, and my very muscular thighs are not being squeezed to death which I appreciate. I ordered the red, and what I got looks exactly like the red shorts in the photo.I bought these for a team relay race, so I plan to run in them. I would not run in these without a liner short underneath as the seams are definitely not meant for athletic wear (you will chafe). The inseam is short enough that I don't think the fabric will stick to itself as I am running.

Bought these to wear for Pride, expecting that they would last a day, fall apart, and it would be more a costume than anything else. Boy was I wrong. Not only were they super durable- even though all the dancing, the insane heat, AND rain. but they were super comfy. They fit great and felt QUALITY. They color was bright and looked just like in the pictures and for metallic gold shorts off amazon- the quality was awesome. I got a lot of "Where did you find those?", and while I'm not often on the market for metallic shorts, if I ever need to get more, I'll definitely be using this company.

These are super cute and very shiny, but ultimately didn't work out for me. The material is quite thick and unbreathable, but the real reason they didn't end up working for me was the fit. I would put the overall size and shape comparable to other athletic shorts I own, but the waist band and material are much less stretchy resulting in less flexible movement. While looking at them in the product pictures and it looks like the material gathers naturally from the elasticity of the waistband, but in reality the shorts are pleated twice on each side. As most larger girls know: pleats are an enemy, they make fabulous things look like you're wearing a diaper.I've seen these on girls of a smaller stature and they are AWESOME, they just didn't work out for me.

It fits me relaxed, a size L. I am 5ft, 130lbs with a big bitt, wide hips, wide legs, fit perfect in silver.

Update- I ordered this "bronze/gold shade" not realizing they were from the same spot until I came to review them. I'd say these run true to size but showed the elastic band as it is wide and would stretch at least a size or two. I haven't worn these outside of the house but can tell they're going to be a disaster to wash as the metallic painted material will probably blacken with most soaps so I imagine washing by hand is the only solution.I ordered these in the green shade and as you can see from the photos they are more of a shiny/ sparkling emerald green. The second photo shows how they look in regular daylight and the first picture was taken using the flash on my camera to show how lighting makes a big difference. So I didn't have a specific purpose for these but had ordered a similar pair in a pink colour from another shop and hoped these would fit the same. They were ordered via prime and I was told they arrived within a week neatly folded in a small bubbler envelope. I do like that they have a pocket as I didn't realize it before but I don't like the odd fit. They aren't short enough to be "for home use only" but not long enough to wear outside the house either (plus the colour is a bit much for a day running errands). Unfortunately these were a gift and I wasn't able to exchange them as I didn't open them and try them on with enough time to make a decision and return for the given the time frame. As it stands these are going to sit unworn unless I am back bartending or something crazy for St. Patrick's Day this year. For reference I am almost 5'3" / 105lbs / 24.5" waist and ordered the XS.

Absolutely LOVE these shorts! Love them so much, I bought 5 different pairs and some for my daughter. These are going to DisneyWorld with me, paired with a cute crop top! Stylish but also comfort! I ordered up 2 sizes for me getting an X-lg, so that they weren’t too tight. I first ordered lg and glad I sent them back for the bigger size. It added a bit more length, I was looking for!

Was reluctant to buy these shorts but so happy I did! I wore them to bonnaroo music festival and they were perfect! So comfortable and fit better than I thought they would. Not too snug but not too baggy. If you have bigger hips or booty I suggest sizing up though. I even washed them in the washer and hung them up to dry after I wore them and they still look brand new! I’m 5’9 130 pounds and I bought a medium.

I ordered a medium and they sent me a small which sucks.I had a pair last year and I loved them, the sizing is accurate but after a few washes the silver starts to crust off. They are cheap enough to replace though. I’m 140 lbs, 5’7”, 27” waist, 36.5” hips with a bit of a bootie and long legs and the medium fits perfect. The small does not cover my bootie but otherwise would fit.The lower rating is because they screwed up my order but otherwise the shorts are great for a few wears.
