Q: What is the measurements with barrel and bristles?

I don't have the 22mm brush yet--I do have the 33mm brush and love it. I converted 22 millimeters to inches on google: 55/64", so the diameter of the barrel is less than an inch. I would estimate the boar bristles are 1/2" long (or maybe less) and the plastic bristles are close to 3/4" long (or maybe less). I am using my 33mm brush to estimate the length of the bristles, assuming there is no difference in bristle length in the larger sizes. I noticed the seller accepts returns, so if you order this and it's not the right size for what you need, you should be able to easily return/exchange it.

Q: Is the measurement the barrel size or entire brush size?

The 22mm is the length of the a single bristle. The longer of the two bristle types since this brush is a mix. The shorter bristle is about a half inch; the longer "22mm" is about 3/4 inch.
