Will be sticking to this next time I need black “sand”, after bad experiences with quartz substrate

Beautiful black sand! I needed a small patch of sand for my assassin snails to burrow into. This is perfect. Almost no dust when I rinsed it. You could probably add it straight to the tank from the bag if you have good filtration, but I'd still advise a quick rinse just to be sure.

Amazing sand option! Very light, settles fast. Does not cloud the tank. I also purchased another bag in another color and plan to mix together. Looks great even with a short bed height.
