Our deck wouldn't allow many of the clamp style birdfeeder poles, so this was a great solution with the bungie cords. A couple of things to keep in mind:A Bit Small - Fine for me because of the cleaning point I will make below. The first few screenshots are misleading. Look at screenshot 5 with the bird sitting next to the feeder. One bird sitting in the feeder takes up most of it. Now, when the birds cooperate you could have 2 or 3 sharing space on the outside of the feeder quite well. Not an issue for me but I see some reviews mentioning it and I don't like how poorly done the first few screenshots are on the listing.Cleaning/Overfilling - Do not fill this too much unless you are in an area that doesn't get much rain. I made the mistake of filling it up fully, after a week with a few days of rain I went out and noticed mold was setting in very quickly. Now I fill it 1/2 or 1/3 of the way and try to remember to clean often if food is sitting around. I am still quite paranoid about the seed getting moldy.The rubber pieces on the metal bungie cord hook fell off immediately. I will probably need to touch up the deck as the metal hooks mildly scratch it over the years. Again worth it for something that works for the birds.Happy overall with some minor things I learned while using.I would love a birdbath version of this product for the other area of our deck!

Had to wire it to the tree branch. The birds and squirrels live eating out of it.

As described! The straps made it easy to place securely on a railing!

I don't use the straps on my railings. I put a thin nail through the center of the railings. One is for suet cakes and the other is for bird seed and bread! Very well made and sturdy.

You have to adjust the spongee cords which are sometimes too long. Otherwise it's a great feeder, attracts squirrels too.

I have these strapped on top of the pylon supporting my clothesline. The birds love it.
