Q: Is it normal that the green light was on just for few hours but the is not there anymore? I cannot tell if it's working or not

Mine stays on all the time. If it's not warm to the touch and the light is off it's probably not working.

Q: I adopted a feral kitten a year ago and she hates loud noises so she hides during the day will this help?

I have the same issue. At first, Feliway worked to reduce stress in my rescue cat who hides from me most of the time; no loud noises and I live alone. However I highly recommend using the Feliway diffuser together with the Royal Canin Calme food. You can purchase that through your veterinarian.

Q: I just received mine and it’s making a smell like a hot glue gun. It’s very strong. Is this supposed to happen or is this on defective?

Mine started smelling the same and I looked at the inside and the plastic interior had melted. Super scary.

Q: Does the diffuser still work if the green light isn’t lit but is warm to touch?

I don't know. I don't know if there's a way to turn off the green light. I thought of putting tape over it, but was worried it would get too hot.
