This season was alright. It seemed very contrived. I am glad that it had less episodes. I thought the last couple of seasons were too long. Jay Paul and RJ get on my nerves a bit. The whole "king of the swamp" thing is over done. I was left wondering what happened to Junior since Troy and RJ purchased so many tags in Bayou Sorrel? If Troy keeps purchasing more and more tags each year, doesn't that take away from someone else's lively hood? I mean, aren't there a limited number of tags each year? I like the Edgars. Bruce and Ron are a bit boring. Overall, this is not my favorite season.

Best show ever I will never stop watching it it's a must have I have every season I never imagine I would like this show but I do you will want to watch the whole season in one sit down like I do trust me you will never be bored again

I cant believe this is going to be the final season of "Swamp People"!!! You finally have a clean, wholesome & enjoyable show to watch and I know you get great ratings, so why in the world would you cancel it? I did prefer the seasons with Junior, Willie & Liz in them better but I still love the show even with the new people. PLEASE, reconsider and dont cancel.

As usual Swamp people is Great, I am just hoping History Channel didn't put RJ and J Paul up to their claim jumping stunt.I just assume that is their typical super ego they have expressed from the beginning. What I like about the show is the true personalities of the people on the show. That is what makes good TV, just plain good people like Troy, Liz and Trapper Joe.

I can’t imagine what producers were thinking when they made this season. Somehow they managed to trash almost everything I loved about the show. I’ve loved Swamp People since season 1 and have collected the DVDs so I can watch and rewatch the episodes multiple times. I always thought I could watch alligator hunting on a loop without ever getting bored. This season proved me wrong.First, who’s brilliant idea was it to change the intro music? I used to get excited for the program every time I heard it, unfortunately I hate the new intro music to the point I won’t watch it. Second, where are my other hunters? I don’t mind the addition of new hunters, but I really miss some of the old standbys, like Liz, Tommy and Joe, etc. Third, RJ and Jay Paul were just hard to watch this season. There have always been moments with them that rubbed me the wrong way, but I could overcome those moments because at the end of the day I’ve always thought they were good people with good values. The first episode really challenged that belief and I thought about abandoning this whole season because of the way they were portrayed in episode 1. Fourth, how in God’s name did the producers find a way to make the actual hunt and kill so boring? I’ve always watched Swamp People while on the treadmill and the intro music and every fight (between alligator and man/woman) pumped me up and motivated me to push myself. Not this season, the hunt, fight and captures were unbelievably boring. How can anyone find a way to make alligator capture boring. not sure, but they found a way. There are probably many more issues, but I just can’t. I hope producers can turn this around because I used to love this show.

Finally after a 2 year wait this gem comes out.. Plus History Channel has brought it back!

I'm never disappointed with swamp people. Plus it was a good price and arrived on time.

Great product

Swamp people season 7 was good but we were disappointed that it was only 13 episodes. And the Liz wasn't on this season.
