how much sand do you use to fill?

I'm not sure. I went with water. I watched a video that a guy use sand and it made a mess. He said he would have use water if he had done it differently.

How much does it weigh?

I FILLED THE BASE OF MINE WITH WATER. ALL THE WAY UP TO THE CAP. DONT WORRY IT WONT LEAK. THEY ARE BUILT VERY GOOD. MINE FILLED IS 270LBS

My workout area is not climate controlled. It gets really hot in summer and cold in winter. Will this affect the longevity of Bob?
