Pacific Women's Chromium Mountain Bike, Mint, 26-Inch

This bike is decent at best. It is really, really heavy for being a "small" bike. The frame is simply made out of a lot of thick, heavy metal. The front tire went flat (popped inner tube) the second time I rode the bike, making me think it was a manufacturing error. Also, the bike has trouble staying in gear sometimes and slips out of gear occasionally. I've taken the bike to the shop a couple times now, and once I complained about my squeaky brakes. They told me the tires were poor quality (painted steel) and would probably always squeak. All of that being said, the bike arrived on time and in good condition. It was an easy assemble. Nothing is dangerously wrong with the bike (the brakes haven't gone out or anything), and it does look nice. Other people have said the seat is uncomfortable, and I have to agree with that, although it hasn't been a big enough issue for me to switch the seat out. If you live in a city, take note that the seat is EASY TO STEAL, the front tire is not quick-release, and there is nowhere to store a U-Lock on the frame. This bike is also a good size for anyone who is round-a-bouts 4'11''-5'3''. All in all, I would recommend spending a little more money for what would likely be a much better bike (unless cheapness is your primary goal, as it was with me).

I love the way the bike looks but it arrived with a defective front wheel and damage to the right handle. I cannot contact amazon to replace the wheel and handle cover which makes me feel cheated.
