In this picture the charger shown has an "L" connector, so that's what I thought I was getting when I reordered my last charger from one of the "other sellers" listed; however, when it came it was just a straight, albeit slim, connector, which is occasionally inconvenient, but not enough to make me contact the company about the misinformation, especially for the price.

Our cat chewed through the original cord so we needed a replacement. This product fit the bill although it does not fit as snug in the computer. The slightest little bump of the wire it will slip out. Considering our laptop remains stationary most of the time it's not that big of an issue.

I ordered this item not just because it was compatible with my laptop, but because of the number of good reviews. Since I've received my item and come back to review, I see two new reviewers with the same problem I have, to wit:The L-shaped plug-in end was too short to fit securely. I was willing to put up with this since I mainly use it in my office. The cord falling out from time to time was a lesser irritance than returning it. My other minor beef is that the cord is about 3' shorter than the original Toshiba cord, which is a minor pain, but I wouldn't have penalized their rating for it.But now, a few weeks later, I' m sitting at my desk and my computer suddenly stops charging. Further investigation reveals that the adaptor will only charge with firm pressure being applied to the L-plug. I'm currently making do with a heavy book pressed up against it, but this adaptor is going back, and I'll be ordering from someone else.It's really too bad. A lot of damage is done to buyer trust when a seller's items are *variable* in quality, far more than when they are either poor or good.

A great buy. For a long time I had been moving the AC adapter that came with my Toshiba laptop every time I took my laptop anywhere. It was very inconvenient to remove and replace every time. This was such a great buy I bought two of them. One to keep in my laptop carrying case and the other to use if I temporarily move the laptop within our home.

This unit had to come from the other side of the US and I was doubtful I would get it in two weeks. Wow when I got it after like two days, I was absolutely amazed.

Charger came as described and works with the laptop in question. Just be mindful of your model and specs and read all product specs and descriptions carefully; I nearly bought another one whose headlines claimed compatibility with my laptop, but upon further reading of the description, my model wasn't listed. This product fit the bill!

The packaging of this product was very poor. It was stuffed into a bag with the shipping information sticker on it with no wrapping inside. (I'm surprised it didn't break while shipping.) The charger charges the laptop, but the plug is too small and fits loosely into the laptop. Clearly the charger wasn't made for the laptop it said it was for. I choose 3 stars, because it's just an okay product.

So if you are ordering a charger cord, its cause you need it NOW! So that is why I didn't bother returning the cord when I received it. The problem is that the metal piece that goes into the computer is slightly too short to actually stay put in the computer. Worse is that you don't even notice that it isn't charging cause it appears to stay in but isn't really making a connection. So after the computer dying unexpectedly while working and losing unsaved work, I took a piece of electric tape and taped it on there! Problem solved until I thought that my tape came loose but, no! The charger died! Worse yet... I screwed up the inside of the charging port on my laptop by applying force to keep the plug in! FML!

Fits loose on my laptop. It does the job but I do have to watch that the plug doesn't come loose which is kind of a pain.
