Can the air pump be used without a check valve?

Yes. The air pump can be used without a check valve when placed outside the aquarium and above the water level. If placed elsewhere, a check valve must be installed in the direction of the arrow.

Can I replace the original air stone with another one?

We recommend using the original air stone. If a replacement is needed, the air stone should be no more than 2 cm in diameter and should not be placed deeper than 40 cm to ensure effective aeration.

How should I clean and maintain the air tube and air stone?

Regularly check the air tube for kinks or blockages and clean the air stone to prevent mineral buildup. Also, ensure all connections are secure to maintain optimal airflow and performance.

What should I do if the air pump suddenly stops working?

Check whether the check valve is blocked by removing it and testing the pump without it. If it still doesn't work, carefully clean the air intake with a needle. The air intake is the small hole on the lower left side of the pump's back.
